Vicki, I'm chuckling because that is exactly the "costume" I wore to TOPS meeting last year which fell on Halloween. Big fleece robe, a few rollers in my hair and a sign saying "It's time to go to TOPS!" and the Halloween coffee mug. One of the women just put a wreath of autumn leaves in her hair and that was great.

I've heard nothing but good reviews on the Fiber 1 pancake mix. Haven't bought any yet though. I did buy the Fiber 1 pop tarts and they are very good and high in fiber also. A nice treat!

I also have not gone to any costum party in many many years. I'd probably just put on a pair of PJs with my robe and fuzzy slippers, roll my hair up in rollers and take a big coffee mug with me. Then I'd be ready to crawl in bed when I got home, too! Not very imaginative but not one to pay to rent a costume and not creative enough to make one.

I've seen that plug-in one! It is pretty cute.

Now, wish I could find a good place to be fitted for the right size bra. I have problems with one strap always falling down and the back rolling up. Oprah said go to a smaller size for the rolling. I did and it helped some but still hasn't fixed the problem. I want to still be able to breathe, too!

Heather, Thanks for the good review on Fiber One Pancake Mix. It's good to hear there's a good one out there. I'll be adding that to my shopping list!

I also spend on shoes. I don't need a lot of shoes, but the shoes I do own are comfortable!

Well, ladies I tried a new product today, and I can't say enough good things about it!

The new Fiber One Pancake mix! It's GREAT!!!!!! High fiber, not bad in calories, and sooo very good! 1/2 dry mix is 180 calories, and I believe like 9 grams or 5 gms of fiber! All you do is add water. So no added calories there. A lot of pancake mixes require eggs, and oil, and milk, which add more calories to the mix calories. And have only 1 or 0 gms of fiber! Most also have at least 180 calories, in 1/3 cup of mix, not 1/2 cup!

So what I did was use 1/3 cup of the mix, and about 1/3 cup of water. (more then what is called for, when I used what was called for it was too thick, I still think it needed a bit more water, when I get it perfected I will let you know). They puffed up really good in size! And were light and fluffy and really really tastey! And I had 2 medium sized pancakes for only 120 calories! And around I believe 5 gms of fiber.

I sure wish JoAnna was alive, no telling what she could of done with this stuff!

But, all I can say, is I haven't been able to find the kind of pancake mix she calls for in her old recipes ever. So I am just going to use this when I make something from now on of her's that calls for it. Cause I doubt this is higher in calorie, it's probably lower in calorie, and for sure higher in fiber!

Any way, I highly highly suggest it!

Heather, How funny about the big waiting line for the fitting. Oprah can bring really good information. I am so looking forward to straps that don't fall off my shoulders. The right fit also gave me better posture. So I'll fork out more than I wish I had to for bras and also comfortable shoes.

Coleen, What a clever idea for a costume!

I'm not much of a costume person and I haven't gone to anything that requires me to dress up for years upon years but I think it would be fun to go as a fairy in a flowing caftan, magic wand, flowery halo on my hair and fairy dust to sprinkle around.

It is fall here in South Dakota....we had a mild frost last night.

As for a Halloween costume...I have always wanted to go as an outlet and my husband the plug in...I have seen it in catalogs before and it is very cute!

Have a great day ladies! (assuming we are all ladies)

I'm one that coffee doesn't effect at all! lol haha

As for fall, I'm loving it. But since it's cooled off, we have to go to the store today and buy some warmer under shirts for Lela. She's outgrown all her others. :)

Bra fittings are GREAT! The only problem I have had with them, is you HAVE to go to a store that offers a wide selection. I have found if I am "fitted" at a store that only has a "small" selection they will try to talk you into the sizes they have, saying that is YOUR size!

I had mine hanging around my belly button for a long time. Wearing the wrong size bra. lol Cause it "fit". Well, I didn't know there was places to get bras in bigger cup sizes. (plus most places that even advertise that they have bigger cup sizes aren't truly that big, cause I've tried them! Then I noticed they have the cups filled with a bunch of stuff, I guess that's so people will think they wear a F or H and really they are only a B or C! lol).

Any way, I seen on Oprah to go to this place near Central Park that fits the Queen of England. My husband said we are going! And we went that night. Funny so did every other woman in NYC! lol They had a waiting list! And told us to come back in 3 hours. lol (after we signed up for the waiting list!). So we went out to eat and came back. And waited another hour. For the first time in my life I got a bra that the straps didn't slide off my shoulders and they were "perky"! lol haha

I bought two cause they were kind of expensive. But, well worth it. Well, now at least I knew my size. Then I went to JC Penny's cause I heard they sold my "size" as well. The lady there told me no, no I didn't wear the size I was claiming, that I really wore a X size. (one they carry!). When I tried it on, that was NOT true! The straps again fall off, and the back rides up and the girls in front go down! lol haha

So if you are a larger cup size, I say it's real important to go to a store that has bigger cup sizes, other wise the women will try to tell you you wear a smaller size cup so you will buy their bras. I have had at least 3 different sales ladies try to convince me of this! And all of them didn't carry my size!

I've went to two stores that carry my size, and both of them told me the same size. And like I said, the proof is in the pudding. The larger cup fits! The smaller one things aren't ever in the right place!

So it just means I have to pay a arm and a leg for my bras. As walmart, kmart and such don't carry my cup size. But, maybe some day!

I am the wacky one for drinking 3 cups of coffee with dinner last night - that's why I'm awake in the middle of the night. I know better, it just sounded good with dinner. I know some people who can drink coffee all day and night and it never bothers their sleep.

Our weather is more fall-like now. DH will be gone today playing golf with a friend.

I went to that bra fitting yesterday and ended up ordering some. The one they gave me to try on was so comfortable and they say the straps won't forever be falling off my shoulders. It was a fun bunch of women with everyone encouraging each as they came out of the dressing room with their "new look". Lol.

Well, I've got one cat on each side of the computer chair snoozing away.

Since it's now October, here is a silly question. If you were invited to a Halloween party and told to come in a costume, what would you come as?
