Well, please spread the word about us being here!
Oh, I sent in WAY too many recipes yesterday! That was a accident! I was trying something new! lol EEK! lol haha
But, I do like that pizza popover! :)
Favorite gadget hmmmm, I like the crock pot, and also the spinning chopper, which I even seen one at Steve and Barry's! (a cheap clothing/shoe store-every thing is 8.98 or cheaper, this month every thing is 5.98! Even jeans! I got Lela corduroy over alls, and PJs! They have the softest pjs over any other brand I've ever bought! And they stay soft, even after laundrying! I've paid more for carters, that stay softer then Gerber's but not NEAR as soft as the Steve and Barry's. And they are nice and big! So they fit Lela for a very long time. Her last ones I bought her a year ago and she can still wear them, but it was about time to get new ones! lol haha).
Any way, I also like a good rubber spatula, and wooden spoon. But, what I use the most is my cast iron skillet. I was just thinking last night, I am going to buy a smaller one next time I go to walmart, just for making corn bread in. :)
Which that could be tomorrows question if any one remembers. How many of us like "sweet" corn bread?? I will wait and answer tomorrow, but who ever opens the thread, maybe can remember to ask. :)
Shar, yes it is me. It is good to see Healthy Exchanges friends! Iris, I stopped doing First Place. They changed the program and I was used to the Diabetic Exchanges and could not figure out the new one. However, the main reason I stopped was that
I found a good Naturopathic doctor and she will give me what I need after my labs come back and she will do other tests. I do miss the group but it was hard for me to get there also. I am so glad to see so many familiar faces here. I also enjoyed meeting new
people also. Heather, I am so glad that you recommened us to SPARKPEOPLE. I love the other teams
I am on also. This is a great place. GOD BLESS!
This is fun telling our favorite gadgets. I like my food saver,My crock pot I couldn't get along without. I use my food processor a lot too.
The other day I forgot to mention I also love muslin bunnies. I used to buy them and tea dye them and then sew and decorate for them. Now they are hard to find so I guess I will have to make my own.
I would love to do day care. I can't though with my faulty immune system. I catch enough things as it is. I probably wouldn't have enough energy at this age anyway.
Tonight we are going to Hometown Buffet with dd and sil. It is my favorite place to eat. Their brocolli soup and their potato soup are so good.
Heather I got the recipes reviews in my email and believe you me, my appetite is in prime form. The pizza popover thing sounds yummy.
Louise do you still do First Place? It is so nice to see some of the HE friends here. Shar 6 kids sounds like lots of fun and lots of work too.
I haven't had any tupperware in years, but did love it. I noticed recently that they have a stand in our mall with so many things that look neat.
Have a great day ladies.
I love Tupperware, Coleen! We use the Sheer Elegance salad bowls regularly, also the jumbo containers for flour and sugar, pitchers for Crystal Lite, tall tumblers, storage bowls - on and on. I love to see how it has added in new products.

First of all I am addicted to kitchen gadgets and small appliances! One of my favorites is Tupperware's grater....what ever you are grating is caught and measured in the back....then it just pops apart for the dishwasher. PS. I sell Tupperware if you ever need anything new or warrantied out....remember it has a lifetime guarantee.

It's cloudy and low 60s here today - but very comfortable. We checked out the garden this morning and there are some cucumbers almost ready to pick. Green beans (and one purple kind) coming along, kale, swiss chard and spinach "pickable". There was one strawberry ripening that some critter beat us to.
Yesterday DH, DS and I walked at the state park on the trails - it was great. I got about 10,000 steps just doing that. I love the fresh air and the trees and plants. It's still a bit dry so didn't see many mushrooms. When the rain comes in it will be better for mushrooms.
What's your favorite kitchen gadget? I have two things I use a lot - kitchen shears and a santoku knife. DS#2 gave me the knife for Christmas one year and I use it daily.
Last night we had Dungeness crab for dinner. A friend gave us the crab (it's pretty pricey otherwise).
I think we have 3 daycare ladies here. Vicki, Louise and Shar. Those of us without little ones or grandchildren in our lives can get our kidlet fix here

Louise I beleive this is you? I am so glad to find some of my HE friends posting here. I have missed you all so much!! I am glad it's cooling off for you even though it still sounds awfully hot to me. We have been in the 70's and I love it. The older I get I just do not like the hot weather. I hope you have a great lunch!
My days are pretty hectic. I still have my daycare kids. Today I will have 6 then 2 more after school. They are a great bunch and I enjoy them. By the end of the day though I am ready for peace and quiet. Well just wanted to hop on here and say hello to everyone this morning. I will check back later when I can.
Good Morning! This is going to be a GREAT DAY in the
LORD! The weather is getting a little cooler. Cooler for Arizona that is! Our preschool director told us that the temp. was 98 degrees out so we should take the children out on the playground and enjoy the nice weather. OK, I know some of you are going to laugh at that but honestly it is cooler than
being in the hundreds like it was all summer and up to now. After work I am going out to lunch with a friend. I have all ready planned what I am going to have so I don't go off my eating healthy. Well, everyone, please have a GREAT THURSDAY! GOD BLESS!
