I am a teacher here in South Dakota so I have been at the school trying to get my room ready....we have inservice thursday and friday. We get kids on Tuesday.
I want to share a recipe I have been drinking in the mornings. It is very refreshing.
It is called Strawberry Daiquiri. It is from the booklet Ten Years and Still Creating.
2 cups frozen strawberries, no sugar added
1 can Diet Mountain Dew (recipe says 2 cups, but this is easier)
2 Tbl. lemon juice
2 Tbl. lime juice
1 (4-serving) pkg. JELL-O sugar-free strawberry gelatin
Combine all in a blender and serve.
Serves 4 1 cup each (I drink the whole thing)
HE 1/2 Fruit, 8 optional calories
35 calories, 0 gm fat, 2 gm Protein, 7 gm Carbs, 75 mg Sodium, 2 gm Fiber
If you are doing WW, it is only 2 points for the whole recipe.
