Beverly: My shrimp salad is very simple. I buy the bags of frozen, precooked large shrimp at Costco and thaw some. Then I just put a lot of romaine lettuce in a large salad bowl, toss in a serving of shrimp, add chopped tomatoes and cucumber, 1 Tbsp. of red. fat mayonnaise or other dressing of your choice. I sort of dip bites of salad into a tad of mayo.
Mary: Isn't it annoying when a good post disappears! You will lose again. Sorry you lost the foot of your ducky. Sounds like a fun game.
Hi All, I just spent the best part of an hour in replying to this... then managed to lose it while trying to have it Spell Checked and Emotionized! Excuse me, but darned. So, that one is out "THERE" floating around in the "THERE" wherever all our lost computer losses end up. (And boy! Do I have a lot of them "THERE.")
The weather is so nice here today (notice I did say 'today'), and I've taken advantage and hung some clothes out in the solar dryer. Sure wish we had it available all year long. My entention for today is to be as productive as possible, as long as possible can be.
Said a little prayer for your weighin, Jan. I gained 5 lbs back right after SRD in May and it caused me to lose the rear foot of my Ducky on the losing strip below. With small losses the last 2 weeks, I have gotten a tiny speck of his leg back. Maybe this week's loss will get all the leg and a small piece of foot back. Poor Ducky, the things I do to him.

Good luck at weigh in tonight, Jan. A shrimp salad sounds wonderful. That is my usual salad to make when we have people over or I take one somewhere. Haven't made one yet this summer though.
I'm going swimming with a friend tonight. We usually spens an hour doing water aerobics on our own and then sitting in the hot tub before heading home.

We just got back from a walk and now it's time to relax a bit before the next thing (housecleaning!). Lots of glorious things in bloom in our neighborhood. Tonight is weigh-in for me and I'm eager to see the results of my walking. It's going to be warm today so it might be a big shrimp salad for dinner. How is everyone else doing?
