Good Morning Ladies, June gloom has started out the day but I think the sun is trying to break through. Yesterday was much warmer than predicted. I'm hoping it stays on the cool side for GS L L at 11:30.
DH found a credit card on his morning walk and has tried several times to call the party but no one at home.

I'm going to get a couple of recipes typed before we have to leave. I'm hoping to finish up Cooking Across America cook book today.

Good Morning, Jan,

Thanks for starting this thread each day. Just got back from the bank, Post Office and the Gas station. Now I am sitting down with a cup of coffee. Finally! It is already 80* at 10:30 in the morning.

Jan, I love cats but am so allergic to them I can hardly even visit at anyones house that has them.

I think we are going to stick close to home today. We were going to go out and do something but with the humidity and the wind we might just hang out here.

Our daughter and family left for the East coast this morning. Sounds like it is HOT out there.

I'm here with my second cup of coffee and the day is looking bright, if the weather isn't. My cats have had their breakfast and are ready for their first nap of the day. My family will do some hiking this morning and see the new Narnia movie this afternoon.

A friend sent me a card with a photo of a cat with a salad bowl of veggies in front of her with lettuce in her mouth and a crazed look on her face. Inside the card it says "I may have "gone green" but I'm still thinkin' chocolate!" So I'm thinkin' Almond Rejoice Pie today:-)
