I know that varying the routine helps me a lot. If I do the same thing each day it does not seem like I am getting as good a workout after a few days. My body gets too used to it and then it is not as effective. I have my fav DVDs also, but I try to rotate them so that I am not working the same muscles in the same way all the time. Lee Ann
I lost down to a healthy weight several years ago without exercising, then quit my eating plan and slowly gained it all back. This time I'm determined to get healthy and stay healthy for the rest of my life, and I quickly saw that I wasn't going to lose unless I exercised. So yes, I exercise 5-6 days a week.
We have some great exercise equipment in our basement - treadmill, recumbent bike, and elliptical trainer - but I mainly use Leslie Sansone's Walk Away the Pounds DVDs. Heather also recommended Richard Simmons' Sweatin' to the Oldies which I love. I usually combine a DVD with a few minutes on bike or elliptical, keeping everything low-impact. And I feel so much better!

By his perfect life, Jesus fulfilled the commands of the law. By his death, He satisfied the demands of sin.

oh yeah I run 9 min to 10 min miles every day on the treadmill for about 40 to 30 mins 5 to 6 days a week and I do the elliptical cross trainer for 30 minutes too. so I workout for an hour to an hour and a half

Yep. That's the question of the day. Are you exercising, and if so, what are you doing?
Me? I'm walking. Every morning my husband and I get up at 4:30 and walk one mile. It's not much, but it's all my ankles and feet can take right now. Our goal is to work up to 2 miles daily (all he'll have time to do before work) and then to supplement the walking with some other exercise.
