I planned and tracked my food. I did 3 SP seated workout videos to get in strength and cardio exercise. I also am walking around the house on crutches for 5 minutes every hour, which is a bit of a workout: arms, abs, legs, and back.

I am sparking a ton to keep me from being bored and discouraged.

Went for 35 minutes of cardio and 30 of Upper and lower body ST, going to feel the back tomorrow, but loving it right now.

FAVALL, I say try the spark one for a week and see what happens, you can substitute meals but try to stay within the range of macro nutrients. Let us know how it goes.

I'd been defining my own food choices and mostly staying within the recommended guidelines. But last week I had a gain, which discouraged me, especially with all of the extra exercising. Today, I activated the menu options in the nutrition tracker for the Diabetes Management program. My hopes are:
1) that by having to plan in advance for each day I'll be more consistent at meeting the Spark dietary guidelines, and
2) that the extra attention to what I eat nutritionally will spark a weight loss streak.

I'd be interested if anyone has any advice for me with the SPARK meal plans.

I got 9 hours of sleep lay night to rest and rejuvenate my body for today. I really need it right now as I have a bad cold. I will also walk at least 10 minutes today. No swimming, because of the cold.

Yesterday I worked out for a combined total of 72 minutes...12 minute mile for walk away the pounds, 30 minutes on elliptical, and 30 minutes on the treadmill. I got 12 glasses of water in. Today already starting on the water, figuring out breakfast but lunch and dinner are planned

I was very low energy but still went to gym, walked 30 minutes and took my favorite yoga class. Consistency is a key to sucess for me.

I stayed within my calories, and I tried a couple of small bites of a new food my honey made, but stopped there and stayed on my dinner plan. In the past, a new kind of mac n chz would have derailed me. I actually found 3 small bites was perfect.

I turned a major battle into a small skirmish. I went to party and had one beer, one burger, and one brownie instead of several and other foods.

I stayed at the lower end of the sliding scale called food eaten. No pun intended but the two scales go together. The food eaten scale and the weight scale. Eat more , weigh more. Eat less, weigh less.

65 minutes of exercise today... broken up... 15 minutes Cardio Blast DVD... 30 minutes volleyball with the kids... another 20 minutes of high energy dance. If only everyday could happen like this. I need consistency!

I'm new here (well, new returning back again). Today I went to the gym and did 35 minutes on the elliptical, 30 mins on the stationary bike, then 3 sets of 12 reps on four different arm machines, 120 side crunches, and 50 regular crunches. Whew! This is my second week of going to the gym EVERY day and I am starting to love it! Also, I refused to eat any fries at lunch and stuck to my salad. :-)

I've been having a hard time breathing, but today I worked out until the coughing got the best of me... It was only 10 minutes, but I broke a sweat and I did my best. Tomorrow I might try something not as rigorous and wait for my new air purifiers to come in.

Had to stop at the mall to pick up a gift so I parked at the other end of the mall from where the store I needed to visit was located. Made 2 laps around the mall and slowed down a little as I passed Great American Cookie and Auntie Anne's pretzels - but didn't stop!

Last night we went and bought shoes specifically to start my jogging endeavor (Starts Monday, eek!), and today we bought the same shoes for my beau who says he wants to start with me!
The same shoes...yeah, we are dorks, lol!
We have a couple more things to pick up for him to help with some of his health issues but we are looking forward to getting started!

JULY 11 - WOW! WALKED A LOT, 65 MINS, OVERATE BY ~150 CALORIES, DID SOME GARDENING, GOT SOME SUN, VISITED A NEARBY SANDY BEACH.

JULY 10 - WALKED 35 MINS., ATE HEALTHY FOODS BUT TOO MUCH OF IT ALL TODAY, UNFORTUNATELY...

JULY 10 - WALKED 35 MINS., ATE HEALTHY FOODS BUT TOO MUCH OF IT ALL TODAY, UNFORTUNATELY...

JULY 9 - WALKED 55 MINS, DID 10 BALLET SQUATS, ATE UNDER 1490 CALORIES AND TRACKED ALL IN SP.

JULY 8 - WALKED ONLY 20 MINS, BUT DID 1 HOUR TOTAL BODY WORKOUT AT GYM, AND ATE UNDER 1500 CALORIES, TRACKED ALL IN SP

JULY 7 - lost -1.9 lbs today, then walked 40 mins, but overate in calories, but ok in ww ppv's, all tracked in SP

JULY 6 - walked 90 mins. ate under my calories budget for once - hope i'm not going anorexic, tracked all in SP

July 5 - walked 55 mins, overate by about 500 calories unfortunately, all tracked in SP, very stressed out today.

July 4th - better - walked 60 mins, (including treadmill at gym) then did total body workout at gym also, only overate by 127 calories. tracked all in SP.

July 3 - bad day - overate and could not get into gear for exercise or any movement at all

JULY 2 - walked 35 mins today, ate over 1490 calories by 216 calories, all tracked in SP. HOW ABOUT YOU? HOW DID YOU DO TODAY?

JULY 1 - Hey Team!

JUNE 27 - sorry i messed up, could not gear up at all.

off work today, overate by almost 950 calories and didn't move much due to tendonitis in my right heel, for some reason, so i could hardly step on it.

Fiance and went to see Madagascar 3 tonight, and after the only other 2 people in the theater left, we went to the front and danced to the end credits...it was about 30minutes of cardio, and a whole lot of fun. emoticon
