Well I have been without internet for a week so I didn't see any posts. But I did put on my big girl panties and actually call my student loan companies(I know novel idea huh? lol). Turns out I wasn't missing a loan at all! I just thought I was. The same company has all 3 of my loans and the amount is much lower than I thought. Closer to 9000 than the 10000 I was expecting. I was happy and I was able to get some extra time on my payments while I get my new job underway! Big sigh of relief!!!!
does anyone know a way to find out if my tax refund will be held for student loan repayment? I know the holders of 2 of my loans, I still have 1 out there some where but cant find any paper trail to tell me who has it. Is there any kind of clearinghouse for this info? I dont want any surprises when I have plans to pay down debt w/that money. Granted it wouldn't be a huge issue if it went to paying of my student loans but I would rather pay off my visa and 1 student loan then have it all go to student loans. Thanks
