Same here. I can't give up chocolate. I try not to have it everyday but I do end up eating it about 4 times a week. Better to have it in moderation rather than bingeing on it eh?

I always eat at night after 7pm! That is my worst, I put the kids down to bed and then I'm bored. I start to eat. It does not help my husband is only 155lbs and has been since he was 12. He just eats and eats. I try not to eat but he makes me hungry just watching him.

Eating a skinny cow ice cream sandwich specifically the cookies and cream or choc and peanut butter.
Other bad habit is havingchai (started drinking w/ no sugar or sugar substitute recently) with peanut butter toast at night.
Last one is every once in a while I crave diet Pepsi (only brand I drink! Ha)

Milk Chocolate in front of tv. Once started munching, can't help to get more till the programme finish! That's why I prefer chocolate while reading a book or in front of computer as I will consume less because afraid of getting the book or keyboard or mouse dirty!

My worst habit I think is eating too fast, I just gobble up the food and that leads me to eat more because my stomach doesn't get the notice from my brain that it is full until 20 minutes later. I then eat to being overfull and that is not a fun feeling and due to my stomach issues with reflux and occasional gastritis, the food usually comes back up.(Not self induced I swear). Plus I get quite burpy, and that's always classy! LOL!

It seems like during Ramadan I don't crave the sweets, just the carbs like bread, pasta, etc. I'm trying not to eat more than my two girls do, but I end up doing it anyway, mainly cause they wont finish up leftovers so I end up becoming the human dispose-all.

Well yeah thats what I've been doing lately, I was just saying that in general I have a bad sweet tooth hehe. It was really cuz my blood sugar levels weren't ideal, so I'd get those cravings. Now I'm working on managing it and keeping those cravings at bay :3.

I have a bad sweet tooth! I get carb cravings. And I tend to eat my emotions sometimes. But I know that that's because of my insulin resistance. I'm working on fixing that with cinnamon, chromium supplements and low glycemic index food. Oh and always combining proteins with carbs.

My worst eating habit? I'll mention 2 of those!

1- I tend to blow things out of proportion ie BINGE sometimes when I'm feeling *weird*. I say weird because when this tendency to overeat comes I don't feel like I am myself or that the same rules and tactics of my regular lifestyle applies at that moment.

2- Finishing the whole plate/bag of chips/chocolate/drink.. anything. I cannot not finish whatever I am eating no matter how full I feel at that moment.

I want to be able to eat small portions of everything *Healthy and unhealthy foods* so I could be a normal eater!
I want to stop feeding my negative emotions with food and thus enhancing them!

Wow I'm babbling.

Insha'Allah Insha'Allah I will build those two habits and succeed.

And Insha'Allah everyone of you guys too

Sorry this post is soooo long!

Oh the ABS diet is a book my husband ordered. Basically you eat 6 meals a day 3 regular meals and 3 snacks in between. He gives a list of Power 12 foods that should be present in your snacks and meals (not all just some). You steer clear of over-processed foods -- I thought I would never be able to do this, but because I go to work and have all my meals and snacks packed up, I just don't have time to think of the muffin or cookie in the cafeteria...and believe me I'm surrounded by junk food.

There's not much focus on "counting calories" which I used to be obsessed about. I find that my breakfasts and lunches are portion controlled (without me going hungry after eating it), and the snacks are just as filling and you actually consume less calories. I found it really weird. Instead of me sitting on the couch telling myself to limit it to 3 cookies at 220 calories. I now have a hummus dip (100) calories, with all the cut up veggies I want. Then 2 hours later, I'm eating my lunch which is rice and a kabob - and I'm not looking at how much each meal is.

I'm still having a hard time steering away from white rice...but overall I've cleaned up my diet. Last night I even had a fudge sundae and didn't feel guilty or that I'd blown my "diet".

I'm still in the first 2 weeks phase where all you focus on is nutrition, but in weeks 3 to six, you need to add exercise which I am struggling with because of time issues but I bought the 10 minute trainer dvds and I'm hoping this will help me meet the requirements for weight training and cardio. Overall I'm really happy with this diet.

As for results like I've said, this is week 2 for me. I used to fluctuate between 160-158. On a good day which was rare...I would sometimes hit 156. Now I'm always at 156. Then this morning I weighed myself and I'm actually at 155 now. So all positive stuff plus I know this is something I can keep doing for the long haul.

I love everything. I find it hard to stop at even 2 slices of pizza. Wings...hands down I will eat every single one. Cake especially vanilla cake with butter cream frosting...yummy! I have eaten a whole cake before (you know birthday parties where no one wants the rest of the cake and somehow I get it.) I have a hard time stopping, but now that I've started on the ABS diets, I'm slowly cleaning up what I eat. With most of my meals and snacks planned out, I just have no time for eating junk food so I'm glad about that.
