It's nice when the staff at the pharmacy can help. I know that sometimes their hands are tied, but sometimes I think that they just don't want to bother. I go to a chain pharmacy for my medicines, and although there is one less than a mile from my house, I tend to go to another one that's 20 minutes away through fairly heavy traffic to get most of my refills. The difference is that the staff at the close one can sometimes be indifferent, while most of the staff at the other one are usually really nice and friendly and have sometimes gone that extra mile to help me (and it's open 24/7--the other one isn't-- and that can be useful, too).

Thanks to all. I had to have my husband take over to talking to people because they kept trying to give me the go around and I was getting too stressed out about it. He finally had to actually yell at the person on the line who was telling him he had to call someone else again. After fifteen minutes they said that it should be taken care of tuesday and that if I had any problems to just go to the ER.

So called my local pharmacy and they are really nice and gave me a few days meds to last the weekend. So thank you that was really helpful info did not know they did that.

I hope you can get it straightened out soon. I haven't been between insurance, but there are a lot of months where I'm walking that thin line between when insurance will allow me to get a refill and get the refill into the pharmacy before I run out--my medicine usually has to be ordered, so sometimes it takes several days to get it in. It's a real pain sometimes!

most pharmacies will give you a few pills to get you by. Also drink a few cups of hibistic tea, it can help keep the BP stable.

Lord, bless my diet buddies and help me met my 2014 weight goals of 60 pounds.

I ran out and I am having problems with my insurance. We got rid of one of our insurances and the pharmacy said that I can not get my meds until the insurance is good. I have been back and forth between both places. The one I have now says that I should be able to fill now, so I tried and the pharmacy says that I still can't because the one they have been using as a primary has not been taken off yet.

not sure what to do since it has been two days now and I can feel my blood pressure rising again. Any suggestions?

Jessie
