When I went to the gym, to exercise, I read my regular magazines while on the treadmill, as the holders didn't accommodate my Guideposts, as it was too small. Then when I got on the bike, I would read my Guideposts, as I could hold it with no problem. Enjoy your reading, as you're getting more fit!

I think you can definitely read while riding the bike. I've done it lots of times before. I've also watched movies from Netflix on my phone too at times. The time has to be passes somehow. I've know some that read magazines but I don't really get into those. Make use of the time in whatever way you can!
I pedal an exercise bike? Will it affect my cycling effort? Trying to fit my daily bible readings and my exercise into my time before work in the morning!!!! Breakfast I can carry and have at my leisure in the train. The first train is always quite so I generally get a seat with a table. Muesli is ok with the milk added before bedtime the night before.
Not back to work till Wednesday this week but I am going to experiment with water intake the three days I will be there to see if it perks me up in the afternoon. If it works for flagging greenhouse tomato plants in the heat maybe it can help me too and stop the bingeing that often comes with the afternoon boredom/lethargy
