Thanks for the feedback. I hope to use weight loss as a way to control it as well. I am mainly checking it often now to make sure I am not overdoing it as I am new to exercising in ways other than walking since my BP has gone up.

I have noticed in the last two days that my blood pressure readings have dropped on the low side. I am unsure if this is because of equipment malfunction or for some other reason. Today's were:
I forgot to take one after exercising today.
148/87 after exercise
I am going to double check readings tomorrow (use outside machine).
Has anyone else experienced anything like this? I have had low readings before, but only during IBS episodes and doctor couldn't explain it other than medication-related probably. However, I am not currently on meds because doctor won't prescribe without full battery of tests and I have no money and no insurance (still waiting on Obamacare after 5 months).
