"If you are going to win any battle you have to do one thing. You have to make the mind run the body. Never let the body let the body tell the mind what to do. The body will always give up. It is always tired in the morning, noon and night. But the body is never tired if the mind is not tired."

I agree with both of you.

The only thing that I have found is to eat much veggies, some fruit, good lean protein and exercise and it is still hard to lose weight.

So, I am to the point of doing all of this just because it makes me feel so good to do all the healthy things and just hope I can lose all the weight I want to knowing full well it will not happen over night like gaining it did not happen over night.

Also all of those supplements really have not helped me out at all for losing weight at all that I have seen on Dr.Oz.

Living life has all kinds of obstacles and spending untold dollars on these quick fixes no longer tantalizes me.

It truly is all up to me choosing what I eat and how active I decide to be with each new day.

I know for sure when I eat whole food and not processed food and stay active and exercise everyday of the week I feel so much better.

I HEAR you loud and clear!!!! The omentum thing seams an impossible thing to overcome at 65 even with Dr (the pill pusher)Oz giving a new set of remidies every day. I quit him.
I was coninced that this and that could help, get online to Amazon and order to receive in two days and use faithfully along with 2 hours at the gym, half hour of that with a trainer for 2 years.
Now I am broke, lost only 18 pounds, and still have this huge belly!
I eat organic eggs,spinich,kale,broccoli,apples,blue berries,bell peppers, almond milk,flax seed,ginger,organic tomatoes,grass fed beef maybe once a week. Wild salmon 2xweek.
Black beans dailey......YIKES!!! whew....nap time

according to many of the latest articles on the body's own toxicity - our BULGING and evergrowing OMENTUMS will kill us prematurely
well, we all have it if we are over 40, had kids, and just plain live.
watching programs such as Dr Oz where he so blatantly has these 'parts' there to show us with his purple gloves - does not help -
i have all those bulges and i had them in my early thirties at 130 pounds - and still have them now - many years later .
so what are we to do about it? dieting is not effective - experts have said this over and over - so why the heck did i spend all those years at the gym faithfully fighting it???
lipo or some kind of surgery is now apparently the answer to getting rid of this -
it is all pretty discouraging - and i hate the way things keep changing -
stretching is NOT the way to go before exercising - just a quick run in place warm up - i have THREE SOFT COVERED BOOKS that extoll the virtues - even the necessity of stretches FIRST.
how can things just switch - this is good - oh wait that was 10 years ago - now it is BAD =
change to this, don't eat that YIKES -
i am tired - i have to lie down - have a good day!
