Highest was around 180/90. My then doctor started me on a low dose of HCT and I stayed on that for years. Then my kidneys started to fail so my now doctor put me on lisinopril and another med whose name I can remember right now. Late in 2011 I had an episode of arrhythmia while I was in the hospital and was put on large doses of metoprolol. I've gotten the dose down to 25 mg twice a day but would like to get off it because I think it's part of the reason I'm not losing weight. I never had symptoms when my pressure was high, only when it is low.
