I don't know about it helping BP but I do know it helps flexibility. I am getting so stiff that I am thinking of taking some classes at the Y. I used to do yoga many years ago but somehow I got away from it.

I used to do yoga clesses at the gym for about 2 months, then hurt my back on the weight lifting session and have now been restricted to walking on my treadmill and aqua aerobic classes. Also just hanging on two noodles in the pool for 15 minutes a day helps to decompress bones and relieve pain! To answer your question, I know yoga reduces stress and that reduces high BP.
