Hello, My name is Elaine and I am joining in if you don't mind. My journey has a long ways to go. I started SP the last week of Dec and am really liking it here. There are so many encouraging people here and so upbeat. I struggle with the walking although have been doing pretty good. My Dr. prescribed some BP meds 10 mgs and so I am seeing my BP dropping. Also, I have watched my salt intake for quite sometime and have hopped to stay off meds. Anyway I was wondering if anyone has a problem with rapid pulse beat along with the BP? When I was on the treadmill mine went up to 134-142 and stayed up for quite awhile after I stopped the treadmill. Again today I brought in a case of water from the car and my pulse rate went skyrocketing again. My DR is aware and in fact I have an appointment tomorrow. Hello & welcome Lady, Good to have you with us here at HBP and on the other teams you may join..... I'll help you through your journey if you need it. I'm here to support and encourage you forward. If you fall back, I'm here to catch you and show you the right direction if need be.
I'll try to be supportive to you and to encourage you on the journey you are taking. I'll be along side you to your goal(s) and all the way. And to you good luck and to take 1 day at a time. Take advantage of what Spark has to offer. I would like to see you accomplish the goal(s) you have and I'm there for you too. Stay focused and have a positive attitude, b/c those will help you in the long way............... It's good to meet and have you with us.

Don't give into your temptations. They are bad and will set you back. You want to move forward, have good habits ( like eating your veggies, fruits) and come in here. We all are here for you and other members too.

Hi, I just found this site a few days ago. I enrolled, and now we will see what happens! YEA! I am really trying to keep a positive outlook! I am exercising faithfully, and TRYING to add more fruit and veggies, and eating a portion control meal(s). That is my hardest part. I am female from Wyoming, and so far this month have lost 7 pounds! Have many more to go! I hope to lower my BP to get off pills, as well as my diabetes pills! That is my biggest goal!
