Sorry I've been MIA a couple days as well. Weather has us working from home because Dallas has iced over and you really do not want to be on the roads with these bad drivers on ice.

I've been super busy between trying to figure out when to get my mom to Texas, when she is table enough, when to schedule my back surgery, and then on top of all that I've started a small side business selling Jamberry and still working my full time job about 50 hours a week. I'm trying to use my early mornings to catch up on other things.

How is everyone doing? Is everyone sticking to their goals in February? My goals have changed since I am on limited movement these days.

Hope everyone is well. I see it's been quiet, and I know I'm not helping. Still no laptop, might just have to try to get the desktop running well enough to at least check in more than I've been able too. I miss you guys, keep going strong!

Hope everyone had a nice Valentine's day and a nice weekend. Our pretty 70 degree weather over the weekend is gone, and replaced with 35 degree air temperature but with rain and wind it feels like 19. That's cold for us wusses down here in TX. I have a feeling today is not going to be a fun day on roads either.

First thing I need to do is work it out with work. I just had a week off to be in AZ for my mum's mastectomy, now I need 2 for myself....my boss isn't very cool, so we will see.

I know it sounds scary but if you trust the doctor to know what she's doing, then try to relax over it. It sounds like it's something you really need to have done.

She explained the surgery part, even drew a diagram of what they need to do. Basically they need to go in from the front by my belly button, move my organs out of the way to get to my spin, but also go in from the back to my spine at the same time. They use a small retract device to lift the vertebrae apart, remove the little bit of remaining bad disk, put in a new fake disk, then screw rods into my L5-S1 vertebrae to stabilize, strengthen and hold that new disk into place.

I will have about a 4 inch scar on my lower spine and a 4-6 inch scar on my lower abdomen.

Have you talked to your doctor about our fears? Maybe he/she could explain things more so you wouldn't have so much fear. I've had surgery 3 times. No fun but I knew exactly what to expect.

I have to talk to work and see if they will even let me have the time off without letting me go :(
I would need to take the week of surgery off for sure, and then work from home the next week. Then the doctor said week 3 I could go back into the office but with a back brace on, since I just have a desk job and I don't lift anything.

I'm scared to have surgery. Other than oral surgery, I've never had any kind of surgery. At the point where I am and how much pain I have every day, I don't think the wounds would hurt any more than I already do, I think it's the whole you cannot do anything or lift anything thing for a month and then will need PT to learn how to move thing that scares me. Well that and the whole there is always possibility of something going wrong.

I do hope your Mom heals quickly and the pain eases. I also hope you won't have to put your own surgery off any longer than absolutely necessary. Waiting could mean making the situation worse. I hope and pray it won't. emoticon

Well I really hope the antibiotics continue to work and she is able to get her last drain out. Poor thing! And you! I hope that you are able to have your surgery soon, but that sounds so scary!

Mum was in the hospital with IV antibiotics for 3 days. She got to come home Saturday night. The pain is more than she can bear. My mum is one of the strongest women I know, and she's never in her life complained of pain, but when you're recovery from a mastectomy, lymph removal and a fractured vertebra, and now add a nasty infection on top of it, I think it's just too much. She does not get out of bed much and I feel so terrible that I am not with her right now.

On a lighter note, she did respond to antibiotics, she has didn't have to take an IV home, but will be on a high dose pill for awhile. She got one surgery drain removed, still waiting on the second one to come out, but it might take a little longer since the one that is still in was attached to the infection site. She will hopefully be with me here in TX in a few weeks to begin radiation and I will be able to help her and take care of her.

As for me, they want me to have surgery ASAP, but that includes being down for a few weeks and I feel like that is not an option right now. Even worse, I was hoping it would be something simple like my husband had done...nope, I need MAJOR surgery and it involves going in through my belly button and back at the same time to get to my spine.

Mum has a staph infection in the armpit where they removed the lymph nodes. Between that and the pain from her fractured spine, she is in a lot of pain, but they did let her come home Saturday night.
I am trying to be positive and be her cheerleader, but seeing her hurt so much is awful. I want her to heal and smile again. I miss my cheerful happy mum.

The hubby is doing better. He still has some congestion, but he is mostly over whatever he had.

Mom was re-admitted to the hospital yesterday and kept last night. Her fever spiked over night and my sister called her doctor. The doctor admitted her, it appears she me might be pre-sepsis based on her white blood cell count and the swelling of the infection site. Mom will be very upset to know she will probably not be going home today either :(

Sounds like a good site, I will check it out for sure!

My sister says mom is doing well, she does have a small infection where the tubes (drains) are coming out from under her arm because one was clogged, so they started her on antibiotics last night and will check on it again Friday.

I'm exhausted this week, work is kicking my butt. I haven't been doing my walking because of the back pain, but I've been getting small walks in when I can and it doesn't hurt too much, just not hitting my 10k steps right now, so I'm really trying to watch my eating.

Taking care of everyone no matter where you are. :D Glad your mom is doing well, and hope she continues to do so. Good luck not getting sick, it's hard to avoid when you're taking care of the one who is sick. Maybe take some Emergen-C or another immune system booster for the time being?

Sorry I haven't been on for a few days. My laptop's still not cooperating so I can still only get on when Jay's at work, and I'm at my dad's place. So if I disappear again I'm ok, lol.

I'm hoping to get my eating habits more under control. I was doing well until the weekend, but hey, the Superbowl only comes once a year. I need to up my cardio too, but I find it harder to get motivated for cardio. I've gained muscle, but if I want to start seeing it more, I have to burn some fat.
I started a profile on bodybuilding.com, and it's a pretty awesome site. You don't have to want to be a serious lifter, you can pick a body type ranging in body fat, and muscle based on your goals. Mine's "fit woman" which has me aiming for 132lbs which is right around where my body likes to be, and 16% body fat.

Thank you, the kind words are always welcome. Mum is doing well, so much better than any of expected. I swear the woman feels no pain, if she does she would never tell you she does!

I came home to a sick hubby, so I need to try and get him well today. As soon as the pain meds for my back kick in I will start cleaning, washing everything and disinfecting the house, I don't want to get sick. I'm still getting over a little something from before I went to AZ.

Glad to hear you did not get hit with too much bad weather. The weather was beautiful in Arizona as usual. We did get rain, people flying in were complaining, we fly to what they call the city of the sun and it's in the 50s and raining. Sorry it is such a terrible thing that AZ is actually getting some rain when they are always in a drought lol.

I flew back home today, I am sitting on my couch back in Irving, TX right now catching up on emails and such. My sister flew in today to take my place and spend a week with my mom, and she brought my 1 year old niece, that will really cheer her up! She really is doing fantastic. She is already going almost 10 hours between her pain pill, yet has stitches going from the center of her chest all the way to her rib cage under her armpit. She complained and whined until she got he way and the doctor let her go home Wednesday, only 36 hours after surgery. She does have drains (2) to clear ever few hours and keep track of how many cc of fluid is coming out, but I showed my sister how to do it. She even got out of the house for an hour yesterday and went to the grocery store with me because she wanted to get some "fresh air" and out of her jammies. haha.
She is remarkable in her strength. She was terrified going into surgery, having never been put under since she was 7 years old for her tonsils. But just like I promised her, i was there holding her hand when she was wheeled through the doors, and I was the first person she saw holding her hand when she opened her eyes in recovery. I can keep going on and on about how amazing she is, but I start blabbing, sorry about that. The good news from the surgeon yesterday, called her personally. The removed officially only 13 lymph nodes, and she is officially downgraded from stage 3B to a stage 2A. This is great news!

We ended up not getting much, but a friend in Boston said they got three or four feet. We were out of the way enough to just get a few inches.

Glad to hear your mom's surgery went well! I hope she heals well, and quickly. She's quite the strong, and amazing lady.

I'm currently in AZ with my mom. Her mastectomy yesterday has gone well. She is resting in her own bed tonight and is very happy about that. She had the entire breast and all tissue and l66% of her lymph nodes in the left arm pit removed yesterday, but here she is at home, just taking a pain pill ever few hours. So AMAZING...I love my mom so much.

I hope those of you in the NE ware safe and warm and have enough food and water, on the news here in AZ they were saying conditions were horrible and foods were running out of supplies and a lot of flights into AZ for super bowl from up in the north east are being cancelled.

I hope your mom heals quickly. I imagine fractures like that are difficult to deal with. :(

I hope seeing the doctor turned up some results, and that there's something you can do for your back. Do you see a chiropractor? Unless that's what you mean by spine doctor, I don't know if there's multiple kinds, lol. Personally they freak me out, (with the spine cracking and whatnot) but they can be really helpful from what I've heard.

We're about to get hammered according to the weather forecast. I'm in Upstate NY, so we won't be as bad as, say, New England, but getting a lot of snow either way. My relatives in NJ have blizzard AND coastal flood warnings.

Yeah because my hair is long right now, It is up 99% of the time, it bothers me when it is in my face.

I haven't hit my 10k steps at all this week, been hurting too much. I get to see the spine doctor today though, so hopefully I can get some pain relief.

Mom's back MRI came back, she has a fractured vertebrae :( Basically all she can do is take it easy and let it heal on it's own.

It was warm here for a few days and now it's back to cold. It is definitely difficult to get motivated to do anything when it is grey and miserable outside! Sounds like you had a drastic hair change, but I'm sure it looks great :) I usually keep mine about chin length. I tend to look alot older with longer hair, or I just put it up anyway!

Yeah I really need to get a hold of my guy to do my hair, I haven't been in at least 6 months, but I will get a hold of him when I get back from AZ again. I need to update my highlights and at least a trim.
Man it's another one of those mornings where I cannot get myself up off the couch to shower, my body refuses to move and my mind is trying to go back to sleep.

I used to have my hair this length a lot as a teen, I've been growing it out for six years though. I want to color it, but I don't know if I can afford too. Hair color is pretty cheap, but there's other stuff I need to worry about too so it may have to wait. Can't wait for spring, my skin needs a color change too, lol.

It's always scary to try a new hair cut/do that you haven't done before, but usually after a few days you end up loving something new, at least with me I do. I haven't cut or colored or done anything with my hair in months...it really needs something, but my hair guy has been super busy working two jobs right now.

Sorry I haven't been around the past couple days. My laptop is acting up again, so I may not be able to get online much until it's working right again. Fortunately I'm a my dad's today so I can let you know. :)

I cut my hair a couple days ago, it was chest length for YEARS, and I cut it to about collarbone length. It's so different, but it's nice to have a change. I haven't worked out for a couple days because I got lazy, but I'm getting back on track today so I don't go off the rails completely.

Thanks...yeah it might be water weight, i was bad with my water intake over the weekend. I'm not too worried about it, it was nice to see the BMI drop a few 10ths though lol.

I'm making an appointment with my spine doctor today. I need some relief!

Could just be water weight, and some muscle gain. The scale can be unreliable, but you know you haven't gained fat so try to keep positive. I don't think you went wrong at all, and you pushed through being in pain too. You should be proud. :)

Friday was a bad day...I only got 2500 steps in for the day because I was hurting a lot! Saturday I did better with around 6500 steps, and then I hit my 10k with a nice long walk last night, so hopefully I can keep that momentum this week.

I am not sure where I went wrong this week, scale said I am up 3 pounds, but my body fat is down. I have an Aria scale that connects through wi-fi to my fitbit account. I guess if the body fat % has gone down, with all the walking I am building muscle? It just bothers me to be up 3 pounds though...I will work on my water this week and portion control better, and see where I am next Monday. Hopefully that 3 goes back away and the body fat % continues to go down.

I had a good weekend. I had an orientation for an hour and half on Saturday, and then later went to a comedy club, which was a lot of fun. Today we were pretty lazy and only went grocery shopping. Going to have some white chicken chili shortly and watch a movie. But Downton Abbey is also recording!

Lol, yeah yesterday felt off for me too. I managed to get started working out, which is all that matters since once I start I feel better, and finish. Still took some willpower though. I was on the floor to do abs fist, and I just laid there listening to music for a bit because I didn't want to bother with it. Plus my stomach has been weird for a couple days now, and I had a headache.

I'm feeling alright today though. Cardio and yoga planned for later in the afternoon. I'm at my dad's so I might add a few strength exercises that I don't have room to do at Jay's.

I think the world would be in much better shape if everyone had better self esteem. :)

That's awesome that high school kids were into helping others too. With so many entitled teens out there, it's nice to see when some are concerned with something bigger than themselves.

I hope you get some sleep Chrymson. I don't know about everyone else, but I find it a lot harder to manage my food intake, and work out when I don't get enough sleep. Being tired causes your brain to want more food for energy, so I just want to sit around and eat all day. Then again, I guess work would take my mind off it somewhat.

Congrats on the weight loss Chrimson! And good for you for instilling a great self-image attitude with your daughter. I feel like that is something alot of people should do.

Hope you all are staying warm- WAY too cold today and tomorrow! Had my first volunteer job today sorting food at the food bank for 3 hours. It was great- alot of work, but fun. There was a high school group there, so I was happy to see that. Saturday I have an orientation with the public library for eventually volunteering there.

Yeah it's been staying between 10-15 degrees this week, not including wind chill so walking has to wait for me. I also don't really have warm winter pants, or boots, which I know is ridiculous for someone in NY. Lol. Congrats on pushing through the cold, and getting your steps in. Once it warms up a bit I'm sure the rest of the family will join you.

I'm just keeping up with strength training for now. At least I can do that inside where it's warm. :D

Ahhh, that's a sweet thing to say, thank you. I definitely try to instill good habits and compliment her daily. I don't want her to have weight issues or body issues. She is perfect at the size she currently is. She is 14, about 5'2" and 105 pounds. She is curvy, she has hips, a little booty and is already a C cup. She tends to be lazy and only want to play video games sometimes, but I've gotten the family to start walking with me after dinner....well except tonight, they said it was too cold. I still did my walk and it was cold, 27 degrees, I was bundled up though and happy to reach my 10k steps for the day :)

I had binge/compulsive/emotional eating problems until about 20 before it tuned in the opposite, equally unhealthy direction. It took a long time to learn how to have a healthier relationship with food, and weight. I would go through cycles of eating a lot, restricting heavily, and just being healthy. Weight training helped put a stop on it, because I couldn't under eat and expect to gain muscle. I also don't want to overeat, and gain body fat that hides my muscle gains either. I find more pride in seeing my body change than I do in seeing the scale drop anymore.

If I do have a kid someday nothing will matter more to me than doing what I can to make them confident, healthy, happy, secure individuals. Whatever dreams, and goals they have for themselves will be that much easier to go for, and accomplish if they're confident they can do it.

No matter what, your stepdaughter has a wonderful step mom, and that's awesome.

Whether or not I am lucky enough to have a child, i definitely want to be healthier for me and our step daughter. I want to be a good example to her and make sure she doesn't have weight issues in the future. She is 14 and at a very impressionable age. 14 in high school is when I developed my first eating disorder. I do not want that to happen to her...peer pressure and caring what everyone thought of you. I'm trying to teach her to love herself and ignore things that are not important.

I weighed in this morning, lost 1.2 pounds last week...w00t!
Now to keep the momentum going this week.

My husband and I both currently have fertility (hormone) issues and are both on hormone therapy. We will try again in 6-7 months. His therapy is a 6 month cycle at a time and while on therapy he is infertile...so we have to wait till that 6 months is up and then he has to get a weekly injection while we try. If it happens, it happens, it's out of our hands. At least he has a beautiful daughter, and I a step daughter. It is better than nothing.

Yeah I'm not into the party scene really. I just dink with my boyfriend here and there, and maybe yell at people on xbox, lol.

I'm sorry about your struggles with trying to have a child. It's not fair. :( I don't know how you feel about taking spiritual measures, but I know someone else who had the same problems, and could ask what worked for them on that standpoint. If not that's fine, just respectfully offering.

Congrats on the weight loss though! They say 1-2lbs a week is a good goal, and if you stay steady with it you're sure to get to that 40lb mark.

yeah...In all honesty, I've never been much of a drinker. I have the occasional margarita or something, but even in my early 20s, I was never that party girl. I'm ok with that though, a drink here and there is ok, but it's just not me. When I first me my hubby he drank a lot, but he doesn't drink any more either....he says he just doesn't feel it any more. I guess some would say we are getting old, and we are only in our early 30s lol.

2015 I pray is the year my mom says she is cancer free, it's also the year I hope I can say I've conceived and child and not lost it...but we won't be trying again until probably July..have to go through some hormone therapy, both of us first. I also want to expand my knowledge and possibly get a raise at work...or even move jobs to get a raise. I have a goal to lose at least 40 pounds this year, and so far I've done pretty well with a 1.2 pound loss last week...so I am on the way!

I think we are close enough of a team to be personal, I am fine with it for sure. I know I've shared a lot of personal things with all of you. I feel connected with all of you and enjoy this team very much. I can't wait to try something new this week and post about it in the new challenge!

Happy New Year! I hope we all have a blessed 2015!

To be honest, I want to get drinking out of my system while I'm young. My mom had me when she was 19, and missed out on her party years. Coupled with untreated bipolar disorder, it was pretty rocky for the youngest part of my life. If I chose to have a kid someday I want to have put that part of my life behind me,and be ready to be responsible, you know?
Sorry, that may have been a bit of an over-share, but I feel like we've become a close enough group to be personal.

I hope your mom gets to say "2015 was the year I beat cancer" for sure. She's been so strong, and she's such an inspiration. :)

I don't know if we'll get to travel this year. We're really pushing to get our own property so we can get away from here, and start living on our own. It's just difficult. With any luck, this time next year I'll finally be able to meet my niece in FL. We've been wanting to plan a long trip there to visit his sister, my brother and his family, and his friends, but with his friend's wedding popping up at a bad time, it just wasn't happening this year.

Happy New year ladies! Here is to a fun filled 2015!

I didn't drink much...I find I don't drink like I did when I was younger, it's more about just spending some time with friends and family and enjoying the moment. I'm looking forward to what 2015 has in store for me. I'm hoping that 2015 brings health to my mum and helps her finish kicking cancer's butt out the door. I want to travel some move and try new things this year. I love the food challenge for sure.

Ok so I lost my whole post by accidentally clicking off the page. emoticon

I rarely check my emails, unless I know I'm getting an email I need. Lol, but I'm usually good at keeping an eye out for things.

Drinking more water would be a great challenge for me. It's hard to drink more during the winter, and while I drink about two bottles when I workout, I still need more throughout the day.

Also maybe part of the challenge could be trying new healthy foods? Exotic fruits, under-appreciated veggies, tofu. Healthy versions of usually unhealthy recipes. If we try things we can tell each other how we prepared it, and what the taste is like so others can get an idea of whether they think they'll enjoy it too.

Just throwing out ideas.

Happy New Years to everyone!
Drinking tonight, Jello shots included, and drink munchies lol. Not going to be healthy, but I've been doing well and I plan on staying on track after tonight. It'll be awhile before another celebration, so just going to have fun with it.

Hope everyone else has a great New Years eve, and a great 2015!

Sounds like we had the same idea :) Does it send you an email to let you know when new threads have been created? I think it is an option in your team settings if you are interested. I get that feeling a lot, but I find that as soon as I get started, I'm pumped for it. My method is to avoid thinking about it, and not giving myself time to think of excuses, and just get that first step started. :)

I'm going to make a thread for our 2015 goals, and resolutions. We could share tips, encourage each other, and keep ourselves accountable.

*edit* Whoops, seems there is one, and I missed it. Lol.

It's always nice to take a tech break, at least from the computer. Glad you got to spend some time with your mom, and I hope she's doing well.

I got off track for a few days myself, but hopped right back into my strength routine this morning, and followed it up with a walk outside. It's unseasonably nice out right now.
Wish I had some challenge ideas for you, but SP might have some articles and blogs with tips on getting back on track. :)

Sorry I was absent this last week, we drove to Arizona to spend Christmas with mum and I tried to be anti-technology while I was there, since I am glued to a computer for my job all the time. We got home after our 16 hour drive about 1am this morning. That drive twice in a week is hard on the body and I'm feeling it. The hubby and kid are still asleep and it's almost 10:30 am now.

I'm looking forward to getting back on track this week and I'm trying to come up with a fun new challenge to start 2015...so if you have ideas please let me know :)

The drop down menus are different colors too. It may just be since they were remodeling other aspects of the site too. I like it, it's refreshing. :)

I hope everyone has a lovely Christmas Eve and Christmas. My winter holiday has come and gone, but hopefully I can spend some time with my little brothers tomorrow. One was born on the 25th so it's his birthday too. :D

I noticed that too. I think they are trying to get people to get their spins in because they moved that to the top.

Hope you have a safe trip Chrymson!

I see SP changed up their homepage layout. Not bad, just takes some getting used to.

Having gym access is nice, but you can get an effective, well-rounded workout at home too. A few pieces of equipment goes a long way too. I have an exercise ball (doubles as a bench for certain exercises), dumbbells, ankle weights, and my yoga mat. I get a really good full body workout from that. Even when I'm short on space, and can't use my ball I can still manage. Can do hyper-extensions for my lower back without it, but I can do good morning for the middle.

Hopefully once some the surgery is paid off it'll at least take some stress off your shoulders.

Yeah I don't qualify for discount anything...I can afford the gym membership, he just doesn't want me to waste money on something I do not use, which makes sense I suppose. We've been more penny pinching lately trying to get some debt paid down and his surgery paid off.

I had a nice massage this morning, now to find the want to do some house work :)

Chrimson - I know the YMCA has a form to fill out for a reduced membership price, so if you have one nearby with a pool, gym, and cardio like the one nearest me you could try that. Other gyms might too, but I have no experience with those. When Jay get's off work for the season we might be stopping at the Y ourselves. We have equipment, but not a lot of room. Though I have to bring my own mat, people may or may not wipe down the machines, but no one wipes the mats. O_O

I'm sure they'll give your mom plenty of healing time. They'd be insane to put her body under that much stress when it's been through this much already. From the sound of it, it seems like she'd want to just push through and get it done with lol, but it really is best to make sure she's in good shape for the surgery first.

Lady - Ugh, people can be so rue. There's honestly, and then there's just being a... well, a something. Lol. You're almost through it though,so hang in there, and try not to hurt anyone. ;)

yeah have to convince the hubby of the expense, I had it and was paying for it and there was a few months a good few months I didn't use it so I was "wasting" money.

I hope she gets some time off to heal and get strong, she is so very weak right now. It's hard for her to heal a cut on her arm yet alone major surgery.

Almisse, You have no idea! People are just horrible there....and I just would love to say some choice things, but I know I should be professional and not burn bridges, so I refrain :) Two more days now. My boss actually asked me why I was working today because if it was him, he would have checked out by now. Nice to know. So the end is in sight! Thanks for the wishes :)

And Chrimson, I bet they will give your mom at least a good month before they decide to schedule surgery. She needs her body to have a bit of a rest for sure.

Saw your status that you want to go back to the gym. That will be great for you! Hope you are able to do it :)

I hope that after these last two treatments they at least give her a couple weeks off before the surgery, so she can gain some strength back before having to heal from a double mastectomy and lymph node removal.

Lady - I imagine it'd be the longest four days ever, lol. It's great that you're going to be doing some volunteer work. I wish I lived closer to a bigger town with more opportunities for it myself. Though I do donate clothing when I can, and not to Salvation Army since I want it to go to who needs it, not who can afford it (not that they're expensive, but when you're that poor any price is too high). I hope once you're done with work you start feeling better.

Chrimson - Your mom is an amazing woman. Getting them over with does sound better than putting it off. I'm glad she's almost done, and will be able to start feeling better soon.

Good morning ladies!
Mom has 2 more to go, even though she could barely get out of bed on Thursday she got her friend to get her to chemo, they offered her a week off, she told them hell no, I only have a few of these left, lets get this done! Sounds like like my mum, even with how she feels and how weak she is, she is the strongest woman I know!

Wow, quit you job, that's cool. Wish I could do that right now, do some focusing on me and find some inner peace, and be there with my mom, but I am the breadwinner in the family so that is not an option. I am trying to get back on track full force today. I have a water goal today, tracking everything I eat or drink today, and workouts tonight, plus I'm going to try and hit my 10k steps today.

I hope you ladies have an amazing day!

Hey girls! Hope the neck and back are doing better.

Such a sweet daughter to give your mom a pep talk. I'm thinking of her! 3 more to go!

I quit my job last Monday and so I'm on the countdown. 4 more days. 3.5 really because I do not plan on being there the whole day on Friday. I'm going to be focusing on something that I want to do like volunteering and doing some PT work. It has been a long 4 years there with much frustration, aggravation, stress, etc. This is also partially for my health. I'm just thankful that this can happen for me right now and so appreciative of my husband.

I hope you were able to get that project done. The week went a little slow for me, it was our anniversary over the weekend so waiting was torture. While my calories were high, it was a good time. Got to see Mockingjay Part 1. :)

I really need to work on my wrist strength and posture. It's one thing for my muscles to be sore from strength training, but pile on sitting slouched in a computer chair for too many hours a day, and it's agonizing. It's hard to remember to sit straight unless I'm in pain though, same with walking/standing. I heard strengthening your core, and back muscles helps too, but I'm working on that.
I only noticed how weak my wrists are because they got hurt really easily when arm wrestling. Not sore hurt, like actually hurt. Not that I arm wrestle much, but it was a good way to find out I had something to work on that I may not have paid attention to otherwise.

Just wish I was closer and could be there for her physically more. Waiting to find out when surgery is going to be so I can at least be there for that. Use some vacation time to go over there.

This week seems like it's going quickly, that is good and bad. Bad because I've got a big project I am working on that isn't quite there yet.
