Hi and welcome back to Spark and our team. Finding us is easy,go to your page and click on our team logo under your teams.
You have had a traumatic few years and the fact that you are out of your wheelchair says what a fighting spirit you have. We all have times where we re gain the weight or stop losing, that is human, but you cannot give up. Slowly we will get there, when you start to plateau that is when you should shake things up a little. Spark gives you minimum and maximum calories, try a day at the higher end then a day at the lower end when you get stuck, surprising how that can fool your body.
Don't worry if you can't climb mountains or run marathons, just add a few minutes a day to your movement. Just a minute here and there walking in place during adverts all adds up. Plus maybe some weights while sitting watching tv? I have a recumbent bike and use it while my favourite progs are

Hello everybody, I just started spark, just learning how to use a computer as well. I don't even know if I am doing this right, do know if I will be able to even find this group again I am so comp unfriendly. But I 'm gonna give it a try. Glancing through the team names this one seemed to suit me best , I think i may have joined a couple more tring to figure it all out but i don't know for sure. I turned 50 this last Sept. I spent my 30's and 40's very over weight. Had a bad 4 wheeler accident 3 yrs ago , spent 2 in a wheel chair and then the wait really poured on. Now I am FIGHTING to be healther in my 50's than I have in the past 20 years. I don't have to get as small as I was in high school (would be nice) but I am a realistic person so I will do the best I can. I have been out of the chair for about a year now , and slowly but surely I am loosing weight. Biggest problem is I get to these times I stop loosing . No matter how hard I try eating, excersing, I just stop. I get depressed and say whay the heck and give up, a few weeks later I come to me senses , try again loose a few more lbs and it happens again. I have tried changing food, habits,excerises etc. nothing works. Oh one more thing, my accident left me unable to do alot of things, can't walk for excerise, can't do any thing that stresses my knees or r leg mainly. I have a Hot Tub I use ALOT, I can do alot of excerise in there. I have a stationary bike I use daily. Anyway Thank You for your time and patience. Hope to get to know a few of you on our journey togeather. Hope I can find ya'll again . LOL
