I hadn't heard of Karl Lagerfeld either! I read the article and suspect he wears a "No Fat Chicks" t-shirt around the house. Also, what is that Halloween costume he's wearing? I don't recognize the character. Vampire?
Did anyone else check out Ralph Lauren's emaciated ad?
This poor girl doesn't just look emaciated, she looks ALIEN! Her head is too big, her waist and hips are inhumanely thin, and her upper arms are too long. Reminds me of a Talon from Babylon 5. Here's what she REALLY looks like compared to the airbrushed ad. Oh. And she was fired for being too fat.
And this isn't an isolated case.
*sigh* I'm struggling to lose weight and wonder if I'll even have a "normal" weight ever again, and then we have ads where even thin models aren't considered "thin enough."

Yeah, me neither! I hadn't even heard of this guy! These super models are so thin they look like they are on death's door! IMO that is just as unhealthy as being obese.

NOt like I could afford anything he has anyway. The man just wants to tote his own weigh lose as being a good thing to be part of that group and that he did not go to extremes to get that way. We all can see through that cloud of bull.
Be a good steward. I need to take care of all that God has given me.
The article explains it all.
"...there's some good in this world, Mr. Frodo, and it's worth fighting for."
"We're children of a fighting race that never yet has known disgrace." (The Soldiers' Song, Irish national anthem)
"Every day above ground is a good day." (Chef Justin Kennedy of New Orleans, on Chopped)
