The last time I lost weight I got right to this point, my halfway mark and then put it all back on.
Here I am again and I'm really fighting an up hill battle. I've been floundering all summer long trying to continue to drop the pounds. Then this past weekend I put 5 pounds back on from emotional eating!
Like you, I have to get past this point and forge ahead.
I got up this morning determined to re-dedicate myself. I'm trying to convince myself that the weight I'm at right now IS my starting weight.
I'm worth it and so are you.

Oh, I know what you mean Nancy. I lose a few then I gain them back. NOW I hurt my knee and I can't do any exercise at all! I'm very depressed.. but I know I must lose weight because I'm sure that's the main reason I'm having trouble with my knee.. my weight.
Hang in there.. you can do it! But hey.. if you have lost almost 50 lbs, that is wonderful! I would be so happy if I had lost that much and kept it off.

Hi Nancy, seems to be what I am going through right now too. I try so hard to get back with it and have been failing. Sometimes with me I think I am scared to see what I am like at a decent weight. I got thinner as a teen and all it got me was sexual abuse and even through I am past all of it I somehow think this plays into getting thinner. I also have a lot of stress right now in my life and just going to work right now can be hard, but I never miss work. Anna

Gosh do I get what you are saying!
I lost 40lbs last year and I have spent this year looking, finding and putting it back on, oh AND a few more.
I don't know why we do this to ourselves. I always say "I can lose the weight, its keeping it off I can't do"!
If you find the answer to self sabotage, I will form the line right behind you to buy the book you could write!!! LOL

No foods with high fructose corn syrup, sugar, rice syrup, corn syrup, fructose, sucrose etc. in the first three ingredients.
No foods that have more than 3 ingredients that I can not pronounce.
If an item has more than 10 ingredients it is too processed, I will not eat or buy the item.
HELP!!! I can't get past the 50lb mark!!! I keep sabatoging myself!!! What is with that!!!!! I need to keep going and I keep eating!!! (sorry just venting and putting out there to the universe!!)
