Welcome Mindy. Vacations are always tough for me, so I admire you for even attempting to start making changes while on your vacation. Just start small, increase you water, you'll get there! We are so glad to have you as part of our group!
Count your blessings!
As Kathy said, take your time while on vacation. Just do the best U can. Make small changes that will last a lifetime. This has to be a life change and not another diet for all of us. Anna

Mindy...every day is a new one and you are in the baby steps stage...so just do what you can to get started. Vacation is not a great way to start working on a lifestyle change...but at least you can practice.

It's foolish to ask God to direct your steps, if you aren't willing to move your feet.
Thanks so much for the encouraging words and welcome. It's been a tough day. I know that I tried to calculate all the calories I ate today and it came to 2500+. I made a few good choices though. I'm on the last leg of a two week vacation and I can't wait to get back home to start to organize and plan.
I have read inspirational and devotional resources on the net concerning weight loss most of the day. I pray that I am diligent with a Godly mindset and focus on weight loss.
