Tymberwolfe, Good suggestions on the Wash DOE site resources. Florida does the same thing. Is Washington moving to the new Common Core Curriculum being adopted across the nation? Old Teacher

Have you checked out the RTI page. Response to Intervention. They have a lot of resources. Also, I send my students to Rubistar4teachers.com for great resources in building rubrics. sanvan3 a/k/a Old Teaher.

What state do you line in? I live in WA state and our state learning standards website has a link to assessment questions/rubrics for every standard and unit. Perhaps your state does also? I find that many teachers who live here don't even realize that helpful little handbook is there. My mentor teacher showed it to me last quarter and I used it for all my English assessments...it was perfect because it was right on with the standards and gave me a lot of choice as to where I wanted to go with my assessments. Anyway it couldn't hurt to look. I hope this helps. What is the unit about?

I am putting together a unit and need some sources for rubrics and am coming up with elementary and perhaps middle school. Anyone know of good assessment sources for high school English?
