I was up a bit this week but PMS will do that to ya. I did end the total month with a 1.8lb loss. So I'm very happy with that. I'm finally moving in the right direction.

I weigh myself every Sunday. I am realistic knowing that I won't lose a pound every month. I'm one of those lucky ones that bloats every month, so weighing in on that week is pointless. Ok I have gained and NOT happy about it but ... Glad that I didn't weigh what the Dr's office had me at.. BOUGHT cried on the spot...

Starting the month at 217 (Dr's {Gastroenterology} office had me at 232 and said it was a little off) Regular DR had me at 218... Either way I still need to get busy and start losing again.

I've decided to weigh myself once a month on the last day of the month. Of course I hope I've dropped pounds, but if I haven't, I know I'm stronger physically and mentally. Even if the scale doesn't budge, I'm not going to be discouraged because I gauge my success not JUST by a number but also by strength, endurance, how well my clothes fit and how accomplished I feel about the entire lifestyle change/process. I have been sick with acute bronchitis for almost 2 weeks. On the couch for most of it. 248 this morning. I had hoped I would have lost weight being sick but I guess not moving did not help. I am feelings tons better and plan to talk a very short walk today but it is a beginning.

Left for vacation two weeks ago at 286.7, came back mid week at 292.8, hoped it was mostly water.... today was 285.9. emoticon

Its been slow going but I'm buckling down as of today. Measuring again, exercising daily... I have to admit I've been slacking a bit, aside from the walking during vacation.

Ya'll are doing great.... I think I will weigh in at beginning of month and end of month. My weight is not changing. Which makes NO sense. I work out I have been eating right and I have cut back portions... Now I am cutting carbs.

Weigh in was yesterday. I maintained at 286. Considering I skipped the entire week's exercise, I can't complain. This week will be better..

My weigh in day is today. I didn't lose any but I didn't gain any so i guess that is a plus. But I did have a bad week I haven't made it to the gym yet this week but I am heading there as soon as I am done on here......

This time I am weighing in on Friday nights. I got a new treadclimber and am starting over again. So I weighed as soon as the treadclimber was put together. 276 I will weigh again this Friday and see how it goes. Thinking a Friday night weigh in will keep it in the front of my mind during the weekend.

I weigh in on Mondays; it helps me get motivated for the week, but also helps me not to over indulge on the weekends. I just joined today...weighed in at 188 and really need to get down to 130. I worked out on my Elliptical today for 30 min and took a quick 20 min walk.....time to get serious! :)

Chose Sunday as my weigh in day since that will keep me in check on the weekends I hope. Plus I usually do my big mileage runs on the weekend, 22.5 miles this weekend.Well I am down 2 lbs this week which is not what I wanted but considering I have been fighting a cold all week I will be happy about it.

well 7 days and it was a weird trip. went from 297 to 307 to 296, i quit smoking 1/20/12, so expected to gain some weight, and my meds have me at the high end of 200's, then forgot all about aunt Flo causing weight gain for a few days. boy was i depressed when i saw that 300+. any way week two and it seems im still on schedule, hoping for at least 1 lb a week weight loss.

Hello everyone! I'm done cheating myself! I used to weigh in on Friday's so I could splurge on the weekend. Well, that didn't work out so well because I put ten pounds on that I lost! I'm only 5'3" so that is a lot and a FULL pant size up. My new weigh in is on Mondays now. Because I had surgery on my mouth I lost a good amount for me so I am now going on this full fledged !!! Do we post our loss on here?

I have to be honest here, l'm nervous about choosing a date to weigh in. I am still working on getting my eating together. Although I have been working out (not enough to lose) I'm nervous that if I choose a day, I won't see any change, but I guess there's not better time than the present. I weighed in at 268.0 lbs today! That is the LOWEST weight I have been since coming to SparkPeople and the LOWEST weight I have been in at least 7 years!!!

I lost half a pound this week. I know that I'm going have to step up my game a bit. I think I've been a little down this week with the surgery prospects and having to cut my exercise. It has made me not to exercise at all and go for my old faithful food. I usually start out the day good, but when I get home I'm having a hard time with the temptations.

I lost 2 lbs this week. I'm so close to the 20 lbs lost mark. I'm actually pleased and surprised by losing 2 lbs since I've had to cut down on my exercise this week due to my hernia. I think I needed this to help boost my weight loss goals.

Okay. Does anyone else do this? When you weigh yourself, do you step on the scale several times. And, of course, a different weight comes up each time.

I stepped on about 5 times the morning, so I'm going with the weight that came up the most.

I lost another pound. Which I think is pretty good considering that I had a tough time with the Easter candy this week.

I have picked Friday for weigh in. This past Friday I lost another 1.3 LBS. Putting my total at 25.3 LBS lost.

I've decided to change my weigh in day to Saturday mornings. I thought it'd be easier to do it on a day I didn't have to get up for work.

I've lost another pound this week for a total of 14 lbs. Its coming off slowly, but something I've learned about myself in the past couple of years is that my metabolism has changed so I don't lose as much weight per week as I used to.

The scales were good to me today. Overall I've lost 13 lbs. And I'm not counting my gain of .5 last week as a loss this week. So altogether so far I've lost 13 lbs. I'll take it.

I've been working my way through The Spark all week. I've found that I have to take it slowly to get it all in.
