I have a question about the cookbook. I was just looking at it on Amazon.com and reading some of the comments. One lady mentioned that a lot of the recipes are really high in calories and fat, is that true. I'm trying to follow a heart healthy diet since my heartattack and was wondering if you thought it was a cookbook that would be fine to follow if your following a heart heatlhy diet......guess I could try the library before I go and buy it!!
Thanks for your input. Tracy

The new cookbook is really great. It has loads of wonderful recipes. Very down to earth ones, not overly extravagent. I really like that about it. I did have to go out and buy quite a bit of new ingredients, some I found at Walmart, most I found at Whole Foods. Maintaining my supply will be easier to do. Made the crockpot porridge not too long ago, it's really good. I recommend buying the cookbook, it's well worth it!
