DAISYANE- You bring up a good point - how your DH offered younsomething that you shouldn't be eating. I read an article that said people don't like change. So when we try to change our exercise or eating ways, those around us "don't like the change. It is not that they truly want to sabotage us, they just want to keep the friendship the same. I have experienced this myself- it is hard, but keep focused on your goal.

Today is my last day off til i get back to work tommorow. I need to do some reorganizing and plan my cooler. I tend to eat alot on the run and it's usually whatever is laying around on the nurses unit. I think if i have some healthy goodies in my cooler I should be okay.
Last night I went to the movies to see true grit, friends dragged me and dh out. I usually head right for the popcorn counter but overcame temptation even with dh offering me reeses pieces. I gave him what he refers as the look and he must have felt guilty he put them away in his jacket. The movie was good quite enjoyable. Dh did not want to see it since he is a john wayne fan and thought it was sacreligious redoing it but he liked it.
I'm signing up for a 5k this week. It may seem a little much considering i'm just getting back to exercise but I do well with deadlines and i think it will be a good motivator to get me back to running. Even if all i do is walk it it's a move in the right direction.

I'm not sure if I should post this here. Probably not, I'll pop over to the challenge. :)

I did clean eating for a long time but over the last few years due to a stressful job, busy lifestyle and depended on process eat on the run foods and guess what the weight piled on. I'm starting fresh tommorow and actually can't wait to get started.

Hi! I'm a clean eater. :) I lost my weight this way, having never followed a 'diet', I just changed my diet. I still struggle with my diet and weight. :) I've been the same weight 122-130 for 3 years now? Avid runner, love crossfit, would really love to see 120. Pre-pregnancy weight that has alluded me forever! :)

Ok, so I picked a reward for myself. Songs. They are around 1.29 a song and I am going to reward myself daily. :)
