I really can't do any of the recipes either. They are either to complicated, to $$, or just unappetizing. So I keep things simple. Over time I have found more things that I like. If i make a salad I throw on hard boiled eggs, beans, turkey, avocado, nuts, chicken, or what not. I've put eggs over millet (that was new actually kinda good). I make many kinds of wheat (buckwheat, muesli, bulgar, oat meal, steel cut etc). many of these reheat for a yummy lunch later.

So start with some staples that you know you like and then start adding new things. I like to try them on the weekends so I don't get stuck at work with yucky things.

I hope my ramblings helped....

Thanks you both for your inputs and Ltisone I usually try to do 2 to 3 miles of walking/jogging a day but some days I dont do it every day. I also have the 30 day shred and the p90x that I have not done.

What's your exercise routine like?

Don't give up. Try different recipes, or perhaps a different type of fish would be better (I take it your not a fan of fish).
I used to be on a raw foods diet and it was hard some days more than others. So I had a goal of eating atleast 75% raw every day.

Hang in there though and be patient. It will be so much worth it. Exercise (especially cardio) is vital to successful weight loss.

Best wishes!

Don't lose faith... there are lots of great ideas out there... Also - don't be afraid to experiment in the kitchen. I have made lots of gross meals and then try it again...and come up with a yummy meal. Just remember to stay away from anything processed and keep using fresh ingredients. I love to shop farmers markets where I get lots of ideas. Do a google alert on clean eating and you will find lots of blogs and recipes. Good luck! Be patient, you can do it. :)

Okay so I have tired every thing out there from counting calorie, to starvation, to atkins, to eating clean. I have had no success at any of these. I just started eating clean today and I have done good all day other than lunch I didnt know what kind of dressing to use so I used lemon and lime and it was goss so I just ate a banana and then dinner I made Tilapia and it was sooo gross! UGH.. So I ate something bad. then something else bad and so on... I have so much fruit and veggies so I want to eat clean but dont think I could live off chicken for lunch and dinner every day! I even went out this morning and bought the eat clean diet cook book and when I got home and looked at every page.. I didnt find 1 thing in there that I would eat. yuck... I really want to lose weight but dont know what to do.
Can anyone please help me.. I am so desperate
