Congratulations on your weight loss. Foods high in iron include oatmeal, whole wheat bread, lentils and beans and broccoli. Foods hight in calcium are of course dairy: cheese, yogurt, oranges, almonds,and pinto, and other beans.
Hi guys! I've been watching my iron and calcium levels lately, and trying to meet the minimum RDA each day. I've been eating a mixed dark greens mix as well as spinach and romaine salad every day. I try not to eat processed foods when I can help it... but there is a PC Blue menu lasagna that I have some times and a clif bar that I really like. Both of these items help me to reach my goal.
But I'm wondering what do you eat to get enough calcium and iron each day?
There are only soo many dark greens that I want each day. I don't eat red meat. Any suggestions you can make would be great!!
