No luck yet! I guess I'll have to wait and go to a C&B.

Thanks though! OTG

I couldn't find the containers you were looking for either. Have you had any luck?

I didn't get the latest issue yet but I love that magazine.

I need help. In the back of the magazine there is a page of new kitchen gadgets. There is yellow lunch containers that are stackable from Crate & Barrel. Well I went on-line to look for them and I can't find them. Can anyone else find them on-line??

Thanks, OTG

Just finally got to look at my magazine and I plan to try the Japanese recipes and the appetizers or starters . . . after Easter. I tried allot in the other magazines where there were the 5 meals for $60. Most have been excellent!

Has anyone tried any of the recipes from the most recent (March/April 2009) issue? I would love to hear reviews from others.
I have tried 2:

Black-eyed pea stew: Delicious, very satisfying and filling. The textures, colors, and flavors are beautiful.

Zucchini lasagna: It tasted great. It was very soupy and watery, though. i think next time I make it, I will add a single layer of whole wheat lasagna noodles to soak up some of that liquid.

I use the recipes ALOT but not the plan. Too many calories for me, and too many meals. I use it for ideas though.

I've never been able to use menus. I change my mind from day to day.

-American consumers have no problem with carcinogens, but they will not purchase any product, including floor wax, that has fat in it. - Dave Barry
-My doctor told me to stop having intimate dinners for four; unless there are three other people. - Orson Welles
-The food here is terrible, and the portions are too small. - Woody Allen

I buy the Clean Eating magazine. It offers some good advice but I have to tweak some of the recipes and suggestions because I am on the low carb side.

Has anyone checked out the clean eating magazine? If so what do you think of their menu plan? I usually make my own and prep my food on Sunday for the week, but time has been about short - studying, kids, hubby, working out, and trying to have a social life. Looking for an easier way. Suggestions welcomed.
