Pink Lady tomatoes! My husband put out a garden this year instead of me. He planted pink ladies, and oh my are they good! Very meaty and filling. 1 medium tomato's is only 20 calories, and keeps me full for quite a while.

My fav snack to grab is just fruits and veggies. I Always have apples and bananas on hand, plus me and the kids love the baby carrots in a bag. And my kids love munching on raisins. I have been doing really good at only keeping healthy snacks in the house, and the kids don't seem to mind.

You get a little banana residue on the pan as they start to soften, but nope, they don't stick!

I didn't know about Ezekiel muffins. I definitely need to keep an eye out for them!

COOLMOMMY, that sounds wonderful. The banana doesn't stick?

I've been liking 1/2 Ezekiel english muffin toasted with fatfree cream cheese and sliced strawberries on it.
I put almost anything on my muffins though...hummus and sprouts, cottage cheese and tomatoes. IT'S ALL GOOD!

I love edemame for a snack. I also have started sauteeing sliced apples or bananas and a few crushed walnuts in a non-stick pan (no oil needed) and sprinkling with a stevia-cinnamon mixture. Great way to satisfy the sweet tooth!

I made something really delicious last night, it was kind of a concoction, but it came out great. I like my food ridiculously spicy, but I'm sure this could be toned down.

I mixed 2/3 cup brown rice, 1 fresh long hot green pepper (wasn't hot, lol), 2 small jalapenos (okay those were HOT), and Trader Joe's all nat hot salsa (this was very hot and I puree it down because I don't like chunks, I'm weird) in a pan, heated through and then threw in some leftover grilled chicken and MAN it was delicious!! And very filling. So if you like ridiculously spicy, give it a whirl, though you could omit the jalapenos and get milder salsa to tone it down :) The rice and chicken were leftovers so it was really quick too, 5 maybe 10 minutes.

Runnergirl -- I haven't made stuffed peepers since switching over to eating clean. I like your recipe, and am happy to add a favorite back onto my family's diet. I hadn't even thought of stuffed peppers!

Yea. I made a frozen blueberry protein shake yesterday and it was awesome! I add 1/2 T of peanut butter and a banana to thicken it up then add 1/2 c hazelnut milk (not the creamer, the real stuff) and throw in some ground flaxseed and bee pollen. THen blend it with 6 or more ice cubes until frothy (like a frappicino.
The calories are high enough that it is one of my 5-6 meals.

I always thought that I did not like cottage cheese.... but now I'm finding it's delicious and I love it! So I have been having some on a whole wheat english muffin for breakfast. It's great!

Love to snack on jicama, celery, snap peas, carrots. Anything I can get my hands on quickly. Didn't think that veggies could satisfy me as a snack, but guess what? I tried it - I liked it - I'm doin' it!
Also popular snacks with me is 1/3c almonds or filberts OR a protein shake made with frozen berries, tastes like a milkshake but w/o the guilt. YUM

Non fat cottage cheese with fresh pears.

Lowfat vanilla yogurt with banana and granola or any fruit for that matter. It's a dessert for me.

One egg with a splash of water whipped together to make a fluffy omelette. Melt some shredded cheddar cheese and add tomato and onions or a pico de gayo sauce. One dollop of fat free sour cream. WOW

Fresh shredded cabbage sautéed in extra light olive oil then add a dash of light sodium soy sauce.

Steam fresh packs are an awesome invention! I love the brussel sprouts, asparagus and broccoli especially.

1 sugar snap pea (the flat ones) with a scoop of non fat cottage cheese and a diced red pepper on top! Great finger food!

Since we are all busy peopple, and we are all trying to stay true to our goals, I thought that it would be nice to have a little discussion on clean snacks, or your fave clean meal.

My fave clean meal is stuffed peppers.
I take 4 colored bells (red, yellow, and orange) and clean them out, making them into little bowls.

I brown up 1 lb of ground turkey breast and add in onions and garlic while it is cooking.

I cook 2 cups of brown rice in vegetable broth and mix in with turkey to stuff the peppers.

To top the mixture, I take tomatoe sauce and season with italian seasoning, hot pepper sauce, and whatever else seems good - and pour over stuffed peppers.

I bake in a 300* oven until the peppers are softening up.

LOVE this meal.

For a clean snack - I really enjoy pairing a lean protein with some complex carbs, such as fruit and fat-free plain yogurt, or veggies and fat-free cottage cheese with pepper.

So team, what are some of yours?
