My goal is to lose 80 lbs one pound at a time. I have failed before because 100 lbs, 80lbs or eve 60lbs seem so unattainable. The thought of losing that much sends me to the "dessert island" of chocolate chip cookies and milk. That aggravates my GERD, so it is a vicious cycle. This time one, 1, uno pound at a time...not 80!

My goal is to lose 40 pounds in spite of having hernia surgery twice. I have lost weight in the past the right way and need to learn to workout with this hernia. once back at my goal weight I plan to have it repaired again.

One day at a time, one meal at a time, one pound at a time!

Sharing your goals helps you achieve them. So feel free to post your goals (short term or long term) here. If you like, post whether you achieved them or are still working on them at a later date.

For me, my short term goal is to at least maintain my weight. My goal is to not gain over the holidays.
