You know, while I did create my own yoga practice on mp3, I think I could create (at least in my head) my Fantasy Yoga Private Trainer DreamTeam ... I just thought of how I could get Mike McArdle (since Bethenny Frankel is long gone from her yoga practice) to tag-team up with Jillian Pransky ... and together deliver to me an unforgettable practice ....

This Jillian Pransky (the restorative leg of the practice), whose DVD I won:

jillianpransky.com/ I mean, she's GOOD ... not that I have eve taken a lot of such sessions ... but she headlines at Kripalu - so somebody who KNOWS must think she's good ... emoticon

Work exigencies prevent me from further tweaking my (though music-free) own audio-recorded practice ... and I still need it because (like, for when my knee heals up a tad bit more) it is quite cardio with all those sun salutes (it had never BEEN before the mp3 recorder ...) ...

EUNNIE18 is great that Yoga is helping you with breathing and flexibility. Keep the good practice and when you have time try a nice restorative practice to give your muscles a treat.

I've got nearly the opposite situation--a very sedentary job plus a lengthy commute (and little time for any lunch break)--also function to help out my co-worker do things ... yoga practice works for me by, literally, getting my blood flowing through dynamic sequences and short holds (and intervals with more lengthy holds), and lots of sun salute variations.

For still a fairly sedate yoga practice, I think my brain functions more quickly too, in carrying out tasks ...

That is the best-kept secret. If I didn't have this job, I may not have had this practice ... maybe even NO practice ...

This year I have really gotten into yoga. Not only am I learning new position and sequence and also making my own sequences but I am also reading about the different styles and the history of yoga. I am really getting into it. But one thing yoga has done for me. I got a new job at a warehouse lifting boxes and opening them up and separating the item in them and hanging some thing up. Now usually doing this I hurts either in my knees or my tail bone right at the edge of my back. Also sometimes I get random charlie horse in different areas. I have notice with yoga that since I been doing it my body have become more flexible, I learn how to breath through some of the muscle pain which makes the pain go away and since I am more flexible I can lift and bend better than before. I don't come home from work with a back ache as often and when i do my regular exercise routine I don't get muscle cramps as often.. Yeeeeaaaahh to yoga. I wish I would of started sooner but better late than never and it does wonders.
