Oh, I had so much trouble downloading this one! I think I ended up taking 2 days to do it....I was finally able to download the individual days (each separately) since that was one of the options they had. That took very little time, as they downloaded almost instantly, despite the fact that I had tried this the day before with no luck. We were also having bad weather the first time I tried, not sure if that affected it, but the second day I was able to get them to go.

I think even if you get stuck in the middle of the download, you can cancel and try again. Also, if you notice a time of day where the computer goes faster, you may want to try then. Low traffic times would be best!

I've done 3 days from this one since I've downloaded them, and they are working (this is also a new computer for me, and it's taking some getting used to, it's Windows 8, but it's not a touchscreen, so that may be part of my "issue"!).

Great KAYOTIC, how long does it take the download? I want to buy this and the one with Deva Premal but my computer is giving me troubles, I'm afraid it get stuck in the middle of the download. Newbi in these matters...

I liked very much the healing rhythms meditation, somehow I feel I've learned a lot in the last six months with the different challenges and when I don't do the Meditation practice it is as I was missing something very important,that feeling...lol..one get used just to sit and let the thoughts flow......lol

After day 9, I missed 10-13 being away, but did get to 14-16. I ended up purchasing the series with the 15 bonus meditations and the explanation sheet (I think the e-mails that came with the daily meditations).so I can work through those. I've done 10 and 11 so far, once I get the technical issues sorted out, they'll be a great resource!

Some sideways again.
Beeing in a flare of my spondilitis i had to cut back in my yoga practice for a few days. Gladly they keep the 21-challenge in on the server, so i can come back and go on from where i had to leave.
Instead i did some chi-gong moves, i always find helpful with the pain, and a couple of half sun-salutations.

day 8 Compassion in the Healing Rhythms, empathy, compassion, love caring amazingly some of them go hand by hand.

VABUTSY sometimes during meditation I've experienced different feeling not only peace and soothing, also without knowing why in my conscious, I 've cried, felt sad, felt uneasy... something is stir in the unconscious, that made us feel like that, with meditation we are trying to peel the veils of our thoughts and reach that level of enlightenment and peace, imagine!!!! We have to forgive ourselves and have compassion for ourselves also, then we could open to others

listen to your body and mind and follow our own "script" , pick and choose what is useful for you, everyone has its own path to follow!

Good suggestion, Punchilouie. I did do Day 7 and it did not hit me like yesterday's did. Maybe I am experiencing the cumulative effects of daily meditation. I was filled with regrets last night, but then I did sleep well although I didn't expect to. I think I need to let myself relax into the feelings that we too often label as "negative" and accept those as part of mindfulness. I'm going to go back to Day 7 and be less rigorous about sticking to the prescribed meditations. come to think of it, as you have written, that is the essential part of mindfulness, isn't it? Listening to our true selves rather than following our script or anyone else's.

VABUTSY, have you done day 7, forgiving yourself? I'm sorry it was a painful session, start with forgiving yourself, then in a week or so do the other one, if you feel like it will help, otherwise, listen to your body and mind.. Let me share this with you,my cousin of 40 years just died of a heart attack, while having a little gathering with friends. Her dead has been so hard on everyone, especially her daughter of 17 years old, nothing could be done to help my cousin, no one could do anything, life just escaped from her body in a blink of an eye. In the funeral her sister with whom my cousin had a lot of troubles was full of regrets and anger, unfortunately she will carry that all her life, and I thought" what was a waste, how sad"," I'm lucky because I have only good memories and the satisfaction of having being at my cousin's side when she needed me". Being mindful really helps....

BUELLRIDER I imagine you are talking about the seating poses? I still have to do that session. Glad to read your post again!

I just finished, kind of, the Day 9 meditation in the "healing rhythms" program and I found it very emotionally difficult. The first part was soothing and satisfying -- visualizing a person I found difficult and finding compassion for them. Then the meditation went on to suggest bringing to mind, in detail, a time when I did something wrong and focusing on developing compassion for myself. That is the part that I found so difficult. Thinking of the mistake I made with one of my daughters that has so negatively affected my relationship with her, I was almost overwhelmed by sadness and without any ability to think of it in anything resembling a compassionate way -- so much so that I stopped the meditation. So I am left feeling sad and somewhat anxious rather than peaceful. I suppose I should repeat the meditation tomorrow, but I am very reluctant to do so. I don't know if anyone has any suggestions, but any ideas are welcome.

I stumbled on the yoga a little this weekend but i've started over and i'm doing really well. The more i do yoga and meditation the more powerful my energy work is becoming. I love being in tune emoticon

Somehow stuck in both challenges. I Think i will make a 6Week Callenge out of it ;-)). Simply go at my own pace.

At the end of a very stressy week i wanted something calm and relaxing.

Meditation-wise i slept in at Thursday-evening while listening to the day4 meditation - its the one with the body-check. Friday evening i could not sit enough to do it, so i didnt finish it.

I don't think you sounds like a broken disc, every meditation challenge is unique and we can get from them some interesting insights of ourselves

like today day 5 Cultivate Positive Emotions, how to give a shape to patience so we can dealt when it is running low, what an interesting concept, in my case patience is always running low, however, somehow I've learned to be more patient along the years...maybe if I visualize it I'll be able to have more.....OMG...that sounds GREAT!

You are right KHELIA before the 21-day YJC included meditation, but this time is only the Yoga practices, fortunately the Healing Rhythms Meditation is on at the same time, both are good.

Today I did one after the one early in the day, now ready to "face the world"...lollllll...

This is my second time doing the 21 day YJ cahllenge this year, i made it about half way through last time before my wrist gave out but today is day one and i know i'll be saying WOW i did 21 days of yoga! pretty soon

The healing rythms looks great i'm gonna sign up right now. Thx for sharing

So i signed up both for the 21-day challenge (Beginner, always peeking a bit in the intermediate section ;) ) and the 15 Days of healing.
PUNCHILOUIE thanks for posting both links!

Wheren´t there meditation tracks on the site for each day of the yoga jounal challenge, when i did it last year?
Or am i wrong?

Yesterday i had a very stressy day - physically and mentally. No me time, bad sleep. Felt exhausted in the morning. So instead of Lunch, i did the Day one meditation, followed by Day 2 of yoga, then D2 of the meditation programm.

Im totally fine now. I plan to do to a yin-yoga or restorative session before bed today.
