Yeah, and I'd done a real shoulderstand for the first time in weeks.
It was great. No blanket needed. My neck was fine this time.
Umm, my bad .. I thought shoulderstand was actually an inversion ... the Queen of Asana, in fact!
..but I guess it should be relegated to assisted-top-of-back-on-floor pose ... if we are talking about flash and hype ...
and I'd become shoulderstand-challenged .. with my circulatory problems ...
Long Live Shoulderstand ...
...and as far as a teacher, CAROLJEAN, I think Integral Yoga lives up to its reputation as a style that resonates with me--it's even influenced my own S.E.A. change, which is a little less killer now (and less a "chore" I dread -- but some of it could be my body weight being less).
The class is pared-down, more gym-style (and thus more reasonably-priced for us not-so-financially-comfortable--we TOO take yoga classes!) than in the stereotypical upscale yoga place ... but I WILL have to bring my Gaiam mat spray
The killer pilates class before this one back to back, wipes off NOTHING ...
[I'd always been afraid of Athlete's Foot. Now that pales in comparison to what my feet could be up against ...]
