This yoga guy with a blog teaches yoga fewer than 2 miles from where I live. I never took his class because of two reasons: (1) Schedule clashes (obviously), (2) Come on, after nearly a year totally studio-less at the time, I started to take pilates fairly frequently at a competing studio [and they SOON will be teaching Stress-Relief Yoga, as well--THEIR FIRST-EVER YOGA CLASS!--I even had the teacher of THAT yoga—for pilates class ..] ivanteach.com/2012/12/19/questions-about-n
"In fact I have never heard of a yoga student being turned away by a studio – referred to a different class, yes, but not turned down cold. So I think Diamond Dallas and Arthur need to tell us just who these yoga teachers are. I’m also skeptical because Arthur tells the story this way as well: “I was up late , I was on search engine, just typing in different things and I typed in ‘yoga’ and ‘broken back’ and up popped Dallas Page.” So is this how he nonchalantly kept looking for guidance after all the teachers turned him away, or was he connected to DDP before he sought these other teachers out?"
In short ... so interesting that the DDP Arthur "Never Give Up" movie has its detractors ...
But I for one, give Kudos to the man (or woman) who relies on home practice to get them exactly where they want to go ...
