My favorite is the Eleanor Roosevelt. It has taken me years to realize that fear faced is gone, fear buried hurts forever.
Lost 65 lbs and maintained since 2006.
I like this one: "You have exactly one life in which to do everything you'll ever do. Act Accordingly."
You have exactly one life in which to do everything you'll ever do. Act Accordingly.
1)We would frequently be ashamed of our good deeds if people saw all of the motives that produced them.
-Francois de la Rochefoucauld
2)You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, I have lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along. . . . You must do the thing you think you cannot do.
3) I cannot believe that the purpose of life is to be happy. I think the purpose of life is to be useful, to be responsible, to be compassionate. It is, above all to matter, to count, to stand for something, to have made some difference that you lived at all.
4) We should not teach children the sciences; but give them a taste for them.
-Jean Jacques Rousseau
5)Motivation is what gets you started. Habit is what keeps you going.
6) The most important thing about motivation is goal setting. You should always have a goal.
-Francie Larrieu Smith
7)There is nothing that fear and hope does not permit men to do.
-Marquis De Vauvenargues
