I found yoga last year, due to being diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. They offered bikram yoga but just didn't know if I wanted to do it. After hearing everyone rave about it, I finally did it! What was I waiting for?!! It was amazing and now I go every week!!!! I love it!

Never take the elevator always take the stairs!!!

Just keep swimming, just keep swimming!!


You CAN do anything for minute!!!

I love Bikram yoga as well. I also love doing it after I run in the summer months. I don't feel sore and my body feels strong.

I love Bikram too! It was my saving grace in 2012... especially through the holidays! Today I will do my first Bikram practice of 2013!!! emoticon

Yoga is a part of keeping the weight off, but so was the psychological therapy I was doing at the time. The weight had an emotional basis and as I resolved the issues that I thought the weight was protecting me from I was able to lose it.
Keeping it off is keeping to the healthy lifestyle I worked to develop, eating 3 healthy meals a day, usually a couple of snacks, keeping track of my food and exercise on the Spark trackers. The yoga has helped to maintain the loss as I have deepened and developed my practice. I practice with a teacher 2-3 days a week and practice at home 2-3 days a week. I have also added some meditation time.

Lost 65 lbs and maintained since 2006.

Hi, can you tell me please how you lost 65 lb. and still remaining from 2006. It's because of yoga or something else? What's motivate you?

I must admit I love the feeling of the clensing sweat of a Bikram session, but luckily, I get almost a sweaty without the heat doing my Adamantine sequence.

Lost 65 lbs and maintained since 2006.

The feeling after you've done a class it's just amazing. emoticon
If you want to try you have to be prepare to sweat a lot but when you get use to it it'll no bother you anymore.

I've done my Bikram Yoga for the whole year and I love every second of it. Than I stop doing it for a 7 months. Now I'm back again and I'm so so happy to doing that.
