I found yoga last year, due to being diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. They offered bikram yoga but just didn't know if I wanted to do it. After hearing everyone rave about it, I finally did it! What was I waiting for?!! It was amazing and now I go every week!!!! I love it!

Yoga is a part of keeping the weight off, but so was the psychological therapy I was doing at the time. The weight had an emotional basis and as I resolved the issues that I thought the weight was protecting me from I was able to lose it. Keeping it off is keeping to the healthy lifestyle I worked to develop, eating 3 healthy meals a day, usually a couple of snacks, keeping track of my food and exercise on the Spark trackers. The yoga has helped to maintain the loss as I have deepened and developed my practice. I practice with a teacher 2-3 days a week and practice at home 2-3 days a week. I have also added some meditation time.
Lost 65 lbs and maintained since 2006.
