Did not manage a yoga session on Friday, although there was yoga in my Ballet-tone class, so that was nice. I did day 19 of the Chopra challenge too.

went to the gym for a quick workout...did some back extensions, TRX back stretches, and kettlebell straight leg hangs(30 min)....doing some stretching and a yoga dvd here at home this evening.(35 min)......total body strength training at the gym tomorrow...and a sauna...

Nov 19: day fill with good intentions but I just did legs-up-the-wall and savasana for about 4-5 min each, missed day 6 from the Chopra Meditation, which today is no longer available...

Nov 20: day 7 Chopra Meditation, 20 min, 8/26 :15 min my own yoga practice, standing poses basically, warriors 1 and 2, side angle pose, triangle, reversed triangle, needle pose, mountain pose, chair pose, extended forward bend pose, forward bend, tree pose and mountain pose, then legs-up-the-wall and savasana to end my practice

11/20 15/21 did the energize yoga-vinyasa style with Colleen Steadman from the daily yoga DVD. Not a bad 21 minutes, although the way I have my room set up, I end up facing away from TV half the time! Followed up with day 14 of the Chopra challenge.

11/19 14/21 backbends with Rodney Yee from the Ultimate Power Yoga. I didn't do the wheel pose at the end, my back was feeling some of the prior poses a bit, so I did bridge then some twists instead. Followed with day 13 of the Chopra challenge.

KAYOTIC sorry to hear too, you have a tender calf/Achilles, I hope is not too painful.You are very right in being cautious, listening to your body is very important. Take care, amazing practice emoticon

Finally I manage to deep breath without triggering a coughing or sneezing attack.On Thursday, I attempted day 2 Chopra Meditation,I fought some coughing and sneezing though and I had to stop and start several times, but yesterday Saturday Nov 17, I could go through day 4 of Chopra Meditation and PM Yoga with Patricia Walden and 11K steps without coughing/sneezing. Oh boy, I was so happy!!!

Nov 17: 6/26 PM Yoga, Patricia Walden, 20 min and 15 min Day 4 Chopra Meditation. Definitely I'm not going to be able to do the 26 Yoga practices this month, however I attempt to practice everyday for the rest of the month both Yoga and Meditation. I missed day 3 from the Chopra Challenge which is no longer available.

11/18 13/21 standing poses from Ultimate Power Yoga, with Rodney Yee, 14 minutes, and day 12 of the Chopra challenge (did day 11 yesterday). My right calf/Achillies is still a bit tender, so I'm being cautious in my challenges.

Day 14 of the Chopra Meditation Challenge and loving it!
Also doing 15-30 minutes yoga daily except Sundays, and 60 minute class on Saturdays.

I hurt my wrist so had to modify which is very exciting b/c it forces you to come at the practice from a new place. I found some really good classes for that on YogaGlo.

never made it to the gym...workers came to the house to do some work...so....some stretching and myofascial release (20 mins)..12 minutes on the pilates arc.....and a yoga dvd (20 min).....to the gym tomorrow...

I'm with Punchie, Emily, start any time you want! You can set up your own challenge, just pick a number or type of practice for the rest of the month, and have at it!

11/16 12/21 From Ultimate Power Yoga, with Rodney Yee, restorative power yoga. It didn't feel all that restorative, since a lot of it was standing. I guess I should have used the Barbara Benaugh DVD, more what I was looking for this morning....but I did get in day 9 and 10 of the Chopra meditation challenge, yesterday and today.

I wish I would've joined this team in time for the November Challenge, but seeing as it's nearing an end, I figure i better wait until the next one comes along. I have never meditated on a regular basis, but see how it could benefit me in many ways. Anyone have any suggestions for how/where to get started?

Still recovering from the cold, coughing is horrible, so no meditation and/or yoga, besides Gate pose and twists to relax the muscles of my ribs that really hurt due to the coughing.
