Not really following the videos all the much... They are okay, but not focusing on things I am focusing on with my yoga. So I do them occasionally. But i like that I committed to the challenge, because it's what gets me up some mornings and on to my mat even when I'm tired! Going to finish it out still!

I did miss yesterday, and I could tell - back stiffer, more antsy at work all day. Glad to have gotten back to it today :)

Skipped a day of my regular sequence, should have thought of the yoga challenges. Anyway, today I did my regular 45 min. practice.

Didn't do any yoga besides teaching the little ones for 75 min..... that seemed like enough for the day.
Today I have already done my Adamantine sequence for almost 50 minutes.

MEGCJONES - congrats!! It's awesome, isn't it, when you can feel things changing?? Keep it up!!

Cindi - welcome to the team!! They're great about helping out with questions, advice, and support. Never hesitate to search the archives, or just start a new thread with your questions or concerns :)

Just did Day 1 - was pretty simple. Slow stretches with breathing - but it's good for me to focus on matching breath to movement, so I focused on that. But I am glad to hear later days will get a little more strenuous :) I like a good wake-up workout!

I'm in. I will start Day 1 tomorrow. I have been doing Yoga for a very short time and I still have a
lot to learn. So, I guess that you could say, that I am a beginner. I may need some advice and help along the way, please.

My name is Cindi. I have been with SparkPeople for 6 years. But, I am new to this team. Just joined today.

I am looking forward to getting to know and learn from everyone.

just finished day 5 and still feeling great. i really am a beginner, never having done yoga on any kind of regular basis, and it's amazing how just a few days of regular practice are already showing me some results. downward dog is already easier, plank isn't such a laughable idea, and i love the feeling in my body when i'm finished. loving it!

I have set my goal at the 15 minute warm up sequence and at least 1 of the 30 minute sequences on my yoga app on my phone. So far I have only missed one day since last week thursday. For me that is a great streak. I hope to keep it going. Last night's sequence kicked my butt. I can sure feel it in my arms. It likes to pair each pose with upward dog and down dog and man does that work my arms out.

I have let my personal practice slide for almost a week. I would like to join the challenge in a personal way... doing my personal sequence, but reporting it on here. Three weeks is a great amount of time... I will do my sequence 5-6 days and do the yoga journal the other days.

just wondering if anyone has tried this 21-day yoga challenge from yoga journal? i'm planning on following it for the next few weeks, though i may add some additional yoga from other sources as well as cardio and strength to continue my weight-loss journey, but i did the first video today and enjoyed it. it's very gentle, which is great because i'm a beginner with a knee injury.
