Sunday... less than a week away. I went to the Retreat last year and it was great. I think the lineup for this year looks even better.

I am so looking forward to the Yoga Retreat and meeting you. I rarely do yoga in the park so I probably haven't seen your instructor... look forward to meeting her as well. I will be helping set up and such, so I will be there early. Please look for me and introduce yourself.
You will be my first Spark person to meet in person!

My instructor is from Indianola. She sometimes teaches at yoga in the park so you might recognize her. We'll have to all meet at the retreat on Palm Sunday.... Looking forward to it.

Who is your instructor? Is she/he from Des Moines?

The full day workshop in Des Moines in April will be great. The teacher who taught the workshop last Saturday will be there and we will end the day doing passive partner yoga which is awesome. I am already signed up. Hope you come and we can connect. I live a 5 minute walk from the venue.

It is difficult, even for those of us who value a regular yoga practice, to describe to others just how good we feel after a good class or practice session. A good workshop must really be great. I am planning to attend the Iowa City workshop in the fall.

Also, there is a full day workshop in Des Moines in April. Do you know anything about that?

I was at a great yoga workshop yesterday. The title was From Child Posture to Corpse Pose
Your Practice as a Metaphor for Embracing Change, Encountering Challenge, and Learning to Live Your Best Life. The main message and experience is that how we do our yoga reflects how we live our life and how we live our life affects how we do our yoga.
If you live any where near the midwest, I suggest you attend the Iowa City Yoga Festival in October in Iowa City, IA. The venue is great, the teachers brought in are outstanding and I am pretty sure this workshop will be offered. The teacher is James Miller. Check out his website at jamesmilleryoga.com/

I tend to reach a point where my body is literally crying out to be stretched and my head is literally crying out to be emptied!!

I know that when I reach that point, it's time for a long Yoga session, up to an hour or more.

In every day life, I tend to practice 4-5 days a week for about 45 minutes. Just enough to keep fairly supple and relaxed both physically and mentally.

I do about 40 minutes of yoga 5-6 days a week and I know it keeps me sane and nice to be around.

I normally do yoga in the mornings, just about 10 minutes. Mostly I think of it as a stretch. Last night I used a DVD from a friend and did it for half hour. I felt great and it is so relaxing. I loved it. Now I am going to do it everyday.

Where there is a will, there is a way.
