3/31 22/21 (bonus!) did the flow yoga class at the gym, about an hour, she mixed it up a little from the last few times I've been, and added in eagle pose.

.....went to the gym and did 15 minutes on the bike....15 minutes of strength and stretching.....then 10 minutes of restorative yoga...couldn't stay long because of a roto baseball draft that i had to get to...

teeth feel a little better today,thanks...

March 31: 31/31 Beginning the day Slowly , Yoga for Stress Relief, Barbara Benagh, 25 min, interesting practice, it seems easy and slow, but right after I finished I noticed all my body feels stretched and like I did a lot of exercise...well good way to end the month emoticon

still hurting from the root canal.....went to the gym and did 30 minutes on the bike....20 minutes of strength and stretching.....then 10 minutes of restorative yoga...

went to the gym...cardio first...some stretching...30 minutes of strength and did some of my prescribed exercises for my injured shoulder and leg.....I'll do the rest of them this evening and will do 8 minutes using the rumble roller..i'll do 10 minutes of restorative yoga to calm myself this evening...

Hello Everyone,

I'm sorry to say 'goodbye' for awhile; but it is just for awhile!! Grandbabies are coming to our house for awhile. MDH is still sick, so I have all the outside to take care oooooof also.

I'm still exercising most every day, but I'm just not taking the time to write it down.

KAYOTIC Jason Cradell does the same in other of his practices, probably he feels that there is no need of more cueing at the end of the practice, just going inwards to a complete relaxation at the end of the practice.

IMREITE good choice to do a practice to help your back!

KAYOTIC don't worry Jason stops talking after he says: interlaced your fingers in min 13:10 then he remains in hero pose without talking until the end of the practice, he likes to do the eagle pose stretch while in hero pose and kind of bend his head like saying namaste then he goes to savasana. So you didn't miss the cue, there was none.Hope you body isn't too sore for the rest of the day!

3/18 12/21 Did the one Punchie listed below with Jason Crandall from the 21 day YJ challenge. Nice practice, I'm sore from yesterday's dance class....only problem I had was the voice over went out near the end, the music kept playing, but Jason stopped talking, so I missed the cue to go to the eagle arm pose (at least that's what it looked like he was doing...) I just followed the video as best I could, Nice, relaxing practice.

Good practices everyone, half way to our goal!!!!! emoticon

March 15: 15/25 Restorative poses for relaxation and deep rest, Yoga for stress relief,Barbara Benagh, 35 min and Day 17 21-day D.Chopra Meditation Challenge, both practices very relaxing. I needed this because the detox twists from 2 days ago were really hard only knees and shoulders, toxins going out????? lol...

ASLMERE in regard to your question in my case I post the minutes I do and also I write the name of the practice and instructor/dvd like KAYOTIC does. So you have the option either to post the number "1" just to indicate you did your practice or to post the minutes. When you post in the Fitness Tracker, you post the minutes of all the exercises you do, which are considered to calculate your position in the team according to the minutes you practice.(see Team Stats, click See Team Leaders)

Aslmere, I put a 1 since it's tracking the number of practices per month, not number of minutes. I add the name of the practice in the big box, but I don't think it goes anywhere.

3/16 10/21 From 5 Day Fit Yoga, with Suzanne Deason again, did the "weight loss yoga, AM" again with props,23 minutes worth, I'm feeling better so picked up the pace a tiny bit.

What are we supposed to put in the box on the goal tracking page. It wants a number, so I have just been putting a one since it was one practice. But are we supposed to be putting down how many minutes our practice was?

Today we had a sub teacher and she was told to challenge us...she sure did! At one point all my limbs were trembling at once, but I got through it and feel proud and strong and grateful.

Hello Everyone,

When I used the Foam Roller Friday it made me sore all over; and here I thought I was in shape!! Read Coach Nicoles take on the Foam Roller. The next day my muscles were kinda sore. I think I'm gonna start using the Foam Roller a couple days a week. Is that the right approach to take?

3-10, 5/15 - Went to MyYogaOnline.com again. I love that site! Everything Yoga. Discovering Sun Salutations, a slow version w/Kreg Weis for 25 minutes.
Did a 4 min. warm up on the TM. Then I did 3 different walks, 5 min ea, 1 after another. I'm just walking on the TM now............but after my thigh gets well, I want to run!! ;-)

Did the PT prescribed exercises (16) for my injured shoulder and I.T. band....12 minutes of restorative yoga..McGill abs planks and modified planks and side bends.....and 8 minutes with the rumble roller...

March 10: 10/25 Shoulders Openers, 21-day YJC, Kate Holcombe, 21 min, and day 11 21-day D. Chopra Meditation, both practices were very relaxing.

PT again today....did the 16 exercises for my injured I.T. band and shoulder,....60 minutes of......???.......then did 15 minutes of restorative yoga (PT said do it!!)....gym tomorrow for more of the same...

Sunny, great you used your foam roller! Maybe if the pain persist you should check with your doctor. Just an idea.

March 9: 9/25 Backbend, 21-day YJC, Elise Lorimer, 35 min vigorous practice indeed. Day 10 21-day D. Chopra Meditation Challenge, soothing as usual.

Hello Everyone,

Well...................I used my foam roller today for 10 min.. I used it all over to kind of get the feel. My (R) thigh, or maybe even my inner thigh. I can't find just exactly where it hurts, until I step down on it. Then it really hurts. I guess maybe I did it too hard the 1st time. I followed RW to get the exercises.

This sequence is ideal to tone it down for the day with some gentle hip openers, lunging, and twisting, still your muscles feel the work, it is not a restorative practice. Before the practice I did day 9 of the 21-day D. Chopra Meditation Challenge.

3/8 6/21 did a short self-paced practice after my elliptical workout...made it to Montreal, and having a wonderful time, so far, but I'm hoping this throat tickle/cough thing doesn't bloom into a full-fledged cold here! Not what I need on vacation...

No I teach Yoga once a week through our Community College. I just started teaching it in December. My class size is fairly small since it's a small town but we're hoping to add more students in the Spring.

I spoke too soon. Myyogaonline has some audio downloads of their older, less popular videos - videos that have my name on them (hint: NOT power yoga) ....

So, I will download it.

You taught a yoga class?

Or you self-practiced class length?

I have one of those practices ... although I won a membership at a yoga streaming site ... the one thing it does (with my slower transmission speed) is introduce me to downloadable videos.

Actually, I get the same setup at doyogawithme.com (free of cost, by default) in relation to audio tracks of their videos. But if I had not won, there would be a fee for streaming I could not avail myself of (most of the time) at home ...

I just got off the treadmill and I am whipped!! That's Yoga and walking in the same day!! I love it! 3/7. 4/20 - I did 20 minutes of "Power Yoga for happiness.

Get Energized!
Enhancing energy is at the heart of every yoga practice—it's designed to release energy blockages and optimize the healthy flow of life force (prana) throughout the body. When energy is moving throughout your whole body, it's easier to attain health and happiness. So each time you do a yoga practice, you're taking one step toward improving your health.
Certain kinds of poses are particularly good for unblocking and stimulating the body's energy.
