I will at least attempt Rodney Yee Power Up Yoga today.

Have to rotate my practices these days. My abs could stand to get stronger than they are, true. But my own practice does not do much for my hamstring flexibility. It is about hip/core, and incorporating pilates. And the focusing, spiritual dimension. Which is what I wanted.

Have nearly finished rejiggering one module of my own devised slow-flow routine, I affectionately call SEA ... it's sloooow-flow yoga with a classical pilates segment. The last thing I did was remove 5 half-spiderman planks (that I renamed "Rearing Donkey"s. No sense making an "ass" out of myself, if the movement does not fit ...) ...

Appreciating the elegance (not in aesthetic form only, but in sequencing) of Shiva Rea; custom-programmed (withing narrow limits of my outdated technology) variation on her Basic Flow sequence (no savasana was able to be included) lasting only 30 minutes; from her Yoga Shakti dvd. Team members still around, may recall my latter, live-studio influences from Shiva Rea lineage once removed ...

8 minutes on the recumbent bike to warm up....then 25 minutes of upper body, legs, and core strength training.....i'll also do some more stretching this afternoon....

Did my Vinyasa sun saluations this morning (like every morning).

Do 60 mins every other Mon and every Weds at gym. I really am enjoying hte Vinyasa style it is such a nice flow.
