I don't think I phrased my last post very well. Zazzle.com only has tshirts. The pants from Blue Canoe were supposed to be a completely different topic. I got my Blue Canoe stuff from www.lotusorganics.com
They have decent prices, but they often have a lot of things out of stock.

For the "not so plain tees" you could check out a site called www.zazzle.com
The site allows people to upload their own designs, so if you go there and search "yoga," you will get a ton of different shirts people have designed. They have a variety of styles of shirts you can get the design on.

I have some shorts and pants from Blue Canoe. I like how they fit....they are very form-fitting, which could be good or bad depending on personal preference.

An alternative to pricey Lulumon - which does have wonderful stuff is Lucy - just as nice, a little less expensive and they have some awesome sales. Lucy.com

Lululemon pants are generally between $80 and $90, but they also have a good sale rack (at least in the one closest to me). Like everyone says, though, they last for years with regular wear and they don't look old at all!

I'm with everyone else on the Lululemon. I bought my first pair of pants and they are awesome! They are perfect for yoga, but they are so comfortable, I could wear them all the time.

I would definately recommend lululemon stuff. Its sooooooooooo comfy. I live in it, let alone work out in it. Also Onetooth is good too. Oh and as for lululemon I have had a pair of pants for atleast three years and they still look like the day i bought them. Thats wearing them to the gym quite regularly and washing them regularly.

also huggermugger.com

their yogatard that is right at 50 bucks lasted me five years when i was actually too fat to be wearing it.... it didn't fall apart til i started losing weight.. lol.. it didn't fade or shrink either....

it is like the most comfortable thing one could ever wear!

i've had some stuff from bluecanoe.com and some Walmart stuff... and basically you do have to baby the Walmart stuff to avoid shrinking and fading...but i have had some stuff last just as long as stuff from bluecanoe which is super expensive...

also i like gaiam.com ..and they are having a sale too! go to their "outlet store" and then to clothing..... some pretty good deals....

Just a heads up on the cheaper stuff from Walmart and Old Navy, they tend to shrink or fall apart much faster. So sometimes buying the more expensive stuff is "cheaper" in the long run. I learned that by buying work pants from old navy and a store called jjill. JJill was much more expensive but I am still wearing the pants 7 years later to work no less (no fading shrinking etc.) The Old Navy stuff lasted 6 months. Plus for someone my size the more expensive stuff is easier to gauge size in :-)

Some of my favorites are: Athleta, & Boston Proper.

For tops with support - I'm a 32DD so I swear by these - Solutions - Perfect fit Camis. I go to Yoga during my lunch hours and these tops go from office to the gym nicely.

Old Navy recently came out with a line of inexpensive yoga clothing......

also try Walmart.com for really cheap stuff.... i bought the Danskin Now French Terry Zip Jacket and the matching pants in teal i believe... 13 dollars a piece..

no they aren't organic or fair trade and i disagree with how Walmart treats workers and runs small shops out of business but i also disagree with paying 65 dollars for a pair of yoga pants too!

The Old Navy stuff looks really nice too.... hoodies....and pants and bras...and tanks with bras in them... good stuff

good luck!

Pajamas sound good. I usually wear my VS yoga lounge pants and a T to bed... or just a T.

You can't beat those prices!

I was impressed how not expensive Gaiam is. Not like MJR inexpensive, but they are all organic fabrics. That is a plus for the environment. VS is not domestic either. But I love my $8 Yoga lounge pants!

I may be totally outside the norm, but my favorite thing to do yoga in is my silk PJ bottoms which slide nicely as I move through poses, a ribbed tank tight tank top which gives me all the neck and arm room to stretch and bare feet. I do yoga daily and this is usually what I am wearing LOL, but ofcourse I do yoga at home. Sometimes for me the treat is Not having to get dressed.

I also have to make a pitch for Lululemon (a Canadian company with US locations). I don't believe that they do online sales, but if there is a store nearby, I highly recommend. Pricey, but very well made and very long lasting.

I like www.gaiam.com -- a lot of their clothing comes in L and XL, which takes you up to about size 16, I think...

Go to MJR sales. mjrsales.com. They sell Victoria Secret (AKA famous catalogue) Camis, T's, and Yoga lounge pants for a fraction of the regular price. Their shipping prices just went down! They sell returns, but be careful to read description; some are damaged.

I'm looking for some help from the ladies in the group, please!

What are your recommendations for pretty yoga wear? Are there any companies that make clothing you like, in sizes beyond an 8?

What about tanks/camis with "built-in support"?

What about not-so-plain t-shirts with "yoga stuff" on them?

I'm not going to wait until I am smaller to treat myself to a special yoga outfit to celebrate my special yoga time... what do you suggest for me? For yourself? What would you buy if money were no object? (We can always dream, or set ourselves a really good goal reward!!!)
