I took my third class last night and wore my HRM. According to mine, I burned 396 calories, it was actually less than that, since I started it early, and forgot to stop it until about 5 or so minute after, so that calorie burn ended up being for 1 hour, 45 minutes. I'm 5'2, about 130.
My heart rate was in the low range for over an hour, and high intensity for 3 minutes.
Bikram yoga is not my cup of tea. I find it more of a mental challenge than physical. I would have burned way more calories riding my bike for 90 minutes.
