As salaamu alaykum; I am glad to hear that your fast is going well, alhamdulillaah.
You don't have to break your fast at the Masjid at any night, but it would be a good thing to do and you get more rewards from praying in congregation.
Not knowing what to do and what not to do can be kind of scary, but if you go to the Masjid, insha Allah you will find someone there to assist you.
You are not lost not at all. Some of the sisters they to might not know the answers to your questions so there for they make the time short. Allahu alam.
My first suggestion is to go to the Masjid, not just once but a number of days so that the sisters can meet you and you meet them.
If I can be of any help, please let me know. If you want you can also email me privately with the sparks email. Insha Allah
Please make duaa for me.

Ramadan Murabak

Thanks 'to_Tried' I really needed some encouragement. So far The fast has been going well, yet there's still so much that I don't know. Should I be breaking my fast at the Mosque each night? When you go in at this time what am I suppose to do? emoticon I'm at a lost cause every Muslimah I talk to is always short on time to talk. Insha Allah I'll get halp from somewhere.

As salaamu alaykum Jamila; I too need support. I gained 1 3/4 pounds this week. I've been in the cookie jar and can't seem to keep the lid on it.
As far as fasting goes it is sometimes easier when others are fast with you. During Ramadaan you have a whole nation of Muslims fasting with you. Al-hamdulillaah. None of us can afford to break our fast during Ramadaan. Don't be scare; all of us had a first Ramadaan. Make dua'a to Allah. This is the month of supplication. And Allah answers our supplication during this month. Insha Allah
Put some tapes of Qur'an on and/or listen to some lectures about Ramadaan. One good one is called "We Need Ramadaan" give by Abul Uweiss.

If I can help in any way, insha Allah, please let me know.

Barakallahu feekie

emoticonAs Salaamu Alaikum
This month I have so much work to do on myself. It is my first Ramadan and I will admit I'm scared. I attempted to fast twice this year (Jan. & June) and both times I stopped before my two weeks. This time I can't afford that to happen, so hopefully you'll understand my struggle.
This morning I went to work overtime and there wasn't any so I came home got on my bike and rode for 5 miles. Insha Allah I'll be able to write more entries like this during the month. I'm asking for all the support I can get right now. I truly need it
