We were driving home from running errands and Alan's cell went off. I about jumped out of the car I was so excited, LOL
2 hour glucose test was high, 175 but won't have to redo it. Cholesterol was high (205). DHEA was elevated 535, should be under 250. She said more then likely I'll get put on Metformin for my insulin levels and another med to lower my DHEA levels. I can follow up with them after my hematologist apt, which I still need to make. Told me I could start my Provera. Alan's "lil buddy" count was 80 million, not 80 thousand like he told me.
I'm on day 3 of Provera (copied this post from my TTC board) and so far am not having any issues. I learned my lesson: read the prescription bottles before taking meds. I've been eating half my breakfast, taking my pill, and then finishing my breakfast, so far no issues.
My hematologist office here in FL called me yesterday to schedule an apt. It'll take a few days because they need to get all of my medical records from my FL doctors and possibly my TX hematologist. Hopefully she'll call me back tomorrow, if not then Monday. Once I get into see this hematologist then I can go back and see the RE. I have an annual physical scheduled for July 3rd with the nurse practioner at my doctor's office.
