I love comparing weight loss to sticks of butter! Genius! Ive lost 75 sticks of butter! Woo!

Some of my successes: Down a size in most clothes, lost a total of 6 inches (as of mid-April), shaved 3 minutes off my typical walk time (from 21 min mile to 18 min mile), and lost 18.8 pounds. I think I hit a bit of a plateau, but I will NOT give up!

That is genius! I think, when I reach my goal weight, I will have my picture taken with something that will physically show the amount of weight I lost. Was thinking with how many sticks of butter it all totals to and me standing next to it (because it was a great idea of yours!) but realized it could all melt, how to keep it refrigerated until the picture, and a bit of a waste since really, who can go through that much butter before it all goes bad?

So I may do something other than butter but that's my new goal when I reach my goal weight. To have my picture taken with so much of one object that equals my weight lost...or perhaps a few pictures with different comparisons.

No More Excuses!

Way to go! You're right, it is nice to hear some successes! Keep up the good work and keep us posted as you continue to lose "small toddlers"! I like to use the comparison of one pound equaling 4 sticks of butter. You lost the equivalent of 100 sticks of butter!

We all know what it's like to have PCOS and the struggles. I thought some of us sharing our successes would be a great motivator to the rest of us.

My successes so far:

I have only had two sodas in the last 4 1/2 months.
I stuck with metformin until the horrible side effects pretty much have stopped.
I added in low weight high reps at work for 5 weeks now.
For 4 weeks I have exercised 4 - 6 times a week with cardio.
I have allowed myself to have cheat days that have actually helped rather than harm me.
I have overcome my plataue once it hit.

And best of all....drum roll.....

I have lost 25lbs so far! More to go but come on, 25Lbs is a small toddler!

I hope everyone has success and finds what works best for them while still enjoying life and food. I have adopted that philosopy that I can eat anything, but it all comes down to portion control. (I do favor things that tend to actually do my body good but indulgence occasionaly is never bad).




No More Excuses!
