You got some great replies and I hope that you have been able to get closer to your groove again. My best suggestion is to plan out your dinners and include new recipes either before you go shopping or when you get home if you find some good bargains. Knowing what is for dinner or what could be for dinner has helped my DH and I get off the takeout track. I don't stick to my plan exactly but at least I have a whole list of options based on what we have in the house.
Trust me, I've been there done that. Just know that you have to expect to have bad days. It happens. One way that I have found keeps me from eating really bad is to have small portions of my favorite foods when I crave them. Just enough to satisfy the craving and I get right back on track. Another way that I've been able to stop eating bad foods, is really thinking how the foods were made and what I am putting in my body.
I keep myself motivated by thinking that I need to gain control of my weight and PCOS if I ever want the chance of having children.
Stay positive and do not beat yourself up. We are here for you!!!!
Philippians 4:13 - I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
Just take it one day at a time. If need be take it one hour at a time. We all mess up, we all have bad days. But none of us are a failure because we get right back up and try again. Don't be so hard on yourself. Tomorrow is a new day.
Know that you are not alone! I've been having a hard time lately as well. Right now just re-commit to living a healthy life. Go back to the beginning. Yes, I should use my own advice but we'll get there just take it one little change at a time.

Amanda, You can do this and will. Change is one of the hardest aspects of life to embrace.Old ways are familiar and in a way comfortable, even if they aren't healthy for us. We all slip and fall but its the getting back that counts. It sounds like you are on your way in this journey with buying different foods and having your husband's support. Don't guilt yourself too much vacation is the hardest time to maintain or loose weight because we are away from our normal routines and resources. It can also be a never ending cycle of eating because of guilt, guilt because of eating. Dust yourself off and look foward with renewed determination. You got this! Chrystal
I totally agree . I had my share of bad days. The difference with me now is I don't keep it going by saying I already messed up I'll start again Monday. I stop and continue on my healthy ways. If I eat something bad I make sure to exercise that day or make up a workout on my day off.
Don't beat yourself up too much. We all have bad days and my answer is to stop, take a breath, appreciate that from time to time a slip does us good and then pick up and carry on with the healthy life you want to live.
We learn from past slip ups and can take steps to address the issues that made us slip up in the first place.
Just keep going on the healthy path you want to lead.

I feel completely discouraged and awful today. I have such a problem doing what is right for myself. I have not been eating well at all lately. Granted I was on vacation this past week with some family members who don't have exactly the healthiest habits either, but this has bled into my behaviors now that I am back home. I ate HALF OF A LARGE PIZZA yesterday! Who does that!?! And I have been completely lazy except for the walking while site seeing. I am angry with myself! I know what I want to do in the deepest part of me - I want to act on my own behalf for my total wellbeing. I'm exhausted from not doing this! My husband and I went grocery shopping Monday and bought lots of foods that promote good life. I have just got to make myself get into the kitchen! And it isn't just my eating but it is also not keeping up with my spiritual life. *sigh* I just need some encouragement today.
