I am not so much picky as Gluten intolerant. I am not sure that there are menus available given your preferences but if you learn the GI of the foods you like then you are well on your way to making the best choices. There are a number of good books out there that give some guidance. Having said that the response by KITTYF54 on 5/10/2011 is on point.
well, any meat is low GI. Green beans, too. I'd leave the baked beans alone, to many added sugars. Corn is high in sugar and so are apples and bananas. if you can add a salad to the meats you'd have lots of variety just with added herbs, if that is your desire. where's the problem?

Question for anybody. I am starting a low GI diet. But the thing is. I am extremely picky about what I eat. Does any one have suggestions on where to look for menus for people like me. I tend to eat chicken, tuna, hamburger, pork, apples, bananas, cottage cheese carrots corn every once in a while green beans only certain. Kinds of baked beans. Scrambled eggs bacon. I am not a big veggie fan. And I only like one kind of yogurt its yoplait orange creme the light kind. Any help would be great thanks.
