I usually hit a plateau when my body gets bored because I am eating the same things all the time. Try mixing up your diet with things that you don't usually eat. Also try doing something different with your exercise as well. It could be something simple like walking faster for 2 minutes then going back to your regular speed.
"I believe that everything happens for a reason, the good as well as the bad. The bad you have to find the good in... the courage to move forward. And the good you just enjoy."
Okay thanks for the info.
I gained weight when I was younger then held at that weight for close to 12 years, then I lost some, gained some back and finally lost a good chunk of it. Only to gain 10 of it back over a couple of months and have been in a holding pattern for about 2 years now (though I think i've broken that holding pattern right now, as the scale moved down, but end of the month will tell if that is true or not).
I've never dieted or been on BCPs never saw the need for their of them in my life, I eat as healthy as I am able to do so, walk every day with my hubby and in general have everything I can in moderation, and try to get in the cals my body needs.
Cals Burned for 6 years = 2,359,000
6 years Deficit Total = 1,729,800
Should have lost: 250 to 495 pounds
Actual loss = 139 lbs and 50 inches from core
Has anyone here with PCOS lost some of their weight and then got sttuck on a plateau. I am. Im not sure what to do. I lost about 13 pounds from Jan-April then none in May then two pounds last month. None this month I'm so aggravated especially since im not on birth control anymore which really helped me. Any advice.
