I know what you are all talking about. Its so frustrating. Even when I don't have a period my body seems to still goes thru the motions with the cravings and moodiness. I keep a bag of dark dove chocolates and I treat myself to 1 small piece everyday and it seems to help me.

I'm right there with you. Now that I'm on the pill and have a regular cycle, the week before my period all I can do is eat. The problem is, it isn't just cravings. My stomach is literally growling 24/7. Sooo frustrating.
I don't know if you watch The Biggest Loser or not, but on the show they say to chew Extra gum when you get cravings for sweets. It really works. I keep a pack in my purse at all times. I'm not saying I still don't cheat, sometimes the chocolate craving overpowers me. But, the gum is good for those mid day cravings at work.
ABSOLUTELY!!! I swear that I'm trying harder this month to not let my emotions rule over my head....I think I can do this. My sugar/chocolate cravings started yesterday, and now I'm boiling eggs to add that to my diet when the cravings are really tough. I heard protein conquers sugars.....
Goals! I will reward myself each time I reach a 5% weight loss of my current weight!
Two weeks out of the month, I lose weight. Then the PMS symptoms hit (when I have to start my progesterone pills for the month) and for the next two weeks, my diet is completey derailed. Cravings, emotional eating, and lack of energy all added with a feeling of "who cares" is really messing me up. Anybody else have this problem?
